With this winter break dragging on i came across this results predictor and thought i would give it a go and see how are European aspirations held up to my head model!

After 37 games i had the table looking like this in what would make a very squeaky bum final day!

For what it’s worth i had us down for the following:

Wins - Brighton, Newcastle, Villa, Spurs, Chelsea,

Draws - Norwich, Everton

Losses - Man U, Wolves, Leicester

This will probably be a million miles away if my weekly accas are anything to go by but it passed on half hour and i thought it would be nice to share and see what others got!

Mr. Negative but that would be some last day in the relegation fight !

I had a go, got us 6th or 7th.

If we have a chance at top 5, then Spurs Wolves and Everton at home will be huge matches. And what a great bunch of games we have to look forward to, pressure off, looking upwards and trying to continue this wonderful season, great times.

I had us losing all 3 which is why we are so low down on my table. I tried to be unbiased but ended up being completely negative by accident.

I had us finishing 10th, but I'm a pessimist.

Welcome to the club. Brilliant though that finishing 10th is being negative!

In all seriousness the league this year is the most unpredictable I've known so the predictions are harder than ever. It's only this weekend where the games have perhaps gone the way you expected them too.

Interesting how in all our predictions we have the relegated teams on less than 38 points. Think it shows that the amount of teams down there picking points up off each other is likely to mean we are already safe.

I did this last week and had us finishing 8th on 58 points. It's funny because you obviously put in the results 'blind' so to speak, so whatever you come up with at the end it's just naturally how you think, unless you've deliberately manipulated the results to have us unrealistically winning every game or something like that.

What's clear though is that whatever happens it's going to be close for 4th and for 17th. There's too many teams packed together around those areas for them to be settled early on. I think it will come down to the last game for both, with potentially 4/5 teams involved in each.

Incredibly tight, pretty much everything goes down to the last game (West Ham vs Villa 👀)

All down to how we do on the south coast. A draw (in this case) would put us 9th, a win puts us 5th!

And I'm going to miss it as it'll be my little uns first birthday. Very inconsiderate of him!

I know it's all guesswork, and a lot can happen between now and then, but it'll be interesting to see how close we all are by the end

I’ve been just as interested in how many points everyone thinks Liverpool will get.

10th in the Premiership and you feel pessimistic.

Can someone please tell me this is happening, 10th in the Premiership was a total dream back in August. This time last year it didn't even qualify as a dream, it was a million miles away.

If we finish 10th, I'll be the happiest I've ever been as a Blade in the last 55 years.

Got us to finish 7th on 61 points. Wolves 6th on 61 points - goal difference to do us again.

Liverpool to finish on 107 points.

Brighton, Watford and Norwich to go down.

Please don't let Spurs beat us to anything, not after VAR burgled a 3 point difference off us.

I think 6th to 8th on 55 - 59 points is realistic.

I cannot see Arsenal getting another 24 points in all reality, nor can I see Everton getting enough to get more than 55 maximum, 8 of their final 12 games are against teams currently above them, or just 2 points below them, MU & Gunners.

So I put us above both these clubs, but probably below TH & Chelsea. Wolves could end up above us, but the EL could just make all the difference to us being above them. If MU win tonight they could end up above us, but a defeat for them tilts it in our favour IMO.

But this all depends on us getting another 16 - 20 points. The shear joy of not thinking have we got enough to stay up is absolutely fantastic, alongside ruminating on the possibility of a top 6-8 finish with 12 games to go.

I think we'll get 20-22 points from remaining fixtures. Didn't predict all other results.

Wins against
Brighton, villa, Norwich, Newcastle, Everton.

Draws against Burnley, wolves, spurs, Chelsea.

Defeats at Man Utd and Leicester.

Then draw or win at Southampton

Brighton fan here. You'll steamroll us this Saturday and I can't see us putting up much of a fight. I've really enjoyed watching Sheffield football this season compared Norwich and Villa's dross football. Good luck for European football lads.

Quick change it to "Sheffield United's" before everybody jumps on you 🤣

I have to say qualifying for Europe would be massive when, you consider where we were 4 years ago but still we don';t get credit. Just been reading Tony Cascarino he makes Crooks look like Einstein, he says we've overachieved for last 3 years as has CW and we'll finish nowhere near 5th and go down next season.

Not bad for a bloke who's nickname when playing was "Ice-cream Man" sums the wanker up perfectly it just sticks in their throats to praise us same as that fat cunt Steve Nicol used to be at Liverpool, if they're going to get pundits don't employ ones that talk out of their fucking arses.
