One of my favourites is from back in the 80s. Colin Morris went down the right hand side of the penalty area and cut the ball back to Keith Edwards to score. I don't think the linesman flagged but a very folically challenged referee incorrectly disallowed a very obviously legitimate goal for offside. Up goes the chant from the Kop, " Bald headed bastard, you're just a bald headed bastard!" A few minutes later the referee awards us a very soft penalty to even things up and we score. The chant now aimed at the referee is, " You're still bald, you're still bald, you're still bald!"
