Why are people so.opposed to Fat Sam? He has a track record of grinding out results with shit clubs and for turning things around.

They can make a difference but not a big difference. It can help when the margins are tight but having fans won’t counterbalance the kind of mismanagement we endured post Warnock. That’s my opinion though and there’s no real way to prove or disprove it. It could be argued that if our fans came back next week, it would have the opposite effect, as they’d be as nervous as the players and as soon as they started misplacing passes the crowd would be on their backs.

He did a brilliant job of keeping Bolton, palace and Sunderland up. Everton were relegation threatened - he got them up to eighth. Got West Ham promoted and reestablished in the prem.

He's a terrific manager. I think WBA was his only relegation and they were arguably the weakest squad he had to start with. Would not pay to watch one of his teams though. But at this stage, keeping Leeds up is going to be more a coin toss, than managerial acumen.
