Given the lull in new transfer targets. I got bored and tried to play a bit of fantasy football.
Given say 4-5 million to spend. Don't know how realistic that might be but Assuming Kyle walker gets sold and we try and reinvest some of those funds. How would you finish the squad - six signings or less. Obviously prices are guess work.
I'd go:
Keeper - smith (previously Northampton - free)
Cb - young cb from a pl side on loan (someone like carter-vickers at spurs or tosin adarabioyo at city would be ideal - nominal loan fee)
Cb - I'd love jagielka here but just can't see it. So someone like grant Hanley (who's probably surplus to requirements at newcastle - £1-2m)
CM - jackson irvine (burton - £2m plus brayford)
AM - reeves (previously mk - free)
ST - ward (rorherham - £1m)
