Well ones Alan Woodward's wife who follows the blades everywhere ,so she's got pedigree,I'm assuming she was voted in through the senior blades . Bob uttley who has just left is a life long blade and a secretary with Bradway for many years ,others are from suds.and rainbow blades .

Yes probably should have said bob uttley, but the sentiment stands that it's a broad section of our fanbase covering different sections of our fine club ,they need a deranged steel worker type on the committee

As far as I know it was a box ticking exercise as part of being in the PL and has continued since. There was something discussion on it in the thread below.

Not sure how people were appointed but it’s supposed to represent a ‘cross section’ of supporters.

Ball_Sup (Phil) will probably be able to tell everyone how it was voted for etc.

Mate. The world has changed. Deranged Steelworker Types have had their day...

How often is voting done. I remember applications were open when in PL but not heard anything since.

Since this is a fan advisory board shouldn't fans have ability to vote for who they want on the board representing them..?

Not overly fussed either way but you would think that's how it would run

No idea who these people are, so no idea how they represent me. Given that FAB seem to have been heavily involved in this stupid safe standing decision, I would suggest they dont represent me at all considering they haven't asked for my opinion on the season ticket seat I bought and paid for 🤷🏼‍♀️

Fan advisory board “Ey up Mr Bettis, every fan we’ve spoken to says the concourse catering by Compass is shit, don’t give them another ten years.”

Snek🐍 “I only caught a bit of that. Give Compass another ten years? Great idea, I’ll get a minion on it pronto.”

I promise you, this is an absolutely genuine question.

How would that voting work? Season ticket holders? Anyone who went to a game last season? All self identifying Blades?

And voting sounds a rather expensive exercise. Nominations, Manifestos, Campaigns, ?In person voting? ?Mail in voting? ? Internet only voting? An independent organisation to oversee the process?

My view is all/any of that sounds an expensive and overly complex way of deciding on an ADVISORY Board, as opposed to a DECISION MAKING Board.

Originally, and going forward, the FAB did, and is likely to continue to, include fans who are ALREADY part of existing representative groups - senior, EDI, Disability, etc.

And, fans who have existing social media presence, like podders and bloggers, have also been prominent on FAB.

In the circumstances of (my view) a vote not being value or common sense, I think the composition of the board is "believable".

Was that on X? So anyone that was on X could’ve applied for then 😂
This is from Facebook, purely because it was the first result when I searched for it.

I did see it on Twitter too, and it also appeared as an article on the club website.

Although that latest deadline has passed, the application form is still actually open if anyone wants to read it:
