Good to see at the bottom of their new manager announcement they say they will be talking soon via further communication

Which is exactly what you'd expect with any managerial change and all the ones we've done prior.

Thankfully, I don't think we've any Adidas sweatshirts left and i'd hope it would be a different style :D

Personally this sort of thing should of been done in January or post window shutting but I get that the promotion race didn't need a distraction.

Probably should have used AI to write this.
AI might have recognised that an ellipsis contains three periods, not however many they’ve decided to use again and again and again in their pompous and presumptuous letter. That said, AI can’t get the number of fingers on a human hand right, so maybe not.

Silent Blade

I find "humanising" people, putting a name, putting a face, putting a story makes everything a lot easier. These people, despite all the accusations on here, and despite the fact I'm not a FAB FAN, are just Unitedites doing what they think best.

I would be interested to know if the other FAB board members were consulted before this statement was written. I'd assume it was a collaborative statement?

Which is fine, but they don’t represent the views of the majority.

What? On anything? On everything? On this particular point?

I feel "the majority" wanted some clarity.
I feel the FAB letter asked for that clarity.
I believe the Board take FAB seriously.
Pretty sharpish, we now have that clarity.

And I have no doubt someone, maybe your mythical majority, will say - just a coincidence...

The FAB represents the views of the people on the FAB.

I'm not sure how many knots you're trying to get me into.

Those views can also be held by non FAB fans can't they? Indeed, those views can also be held by the majority of non FAB fans can't they?

For instance....

I believe the vast majority of fans held the view that season ticket increases should be kept to a minimum.

I believe FAB held the same view.

Mester Bettis and co are smart enough to understand that fans would like season ticket price increases to be kept to a minimum.

The FAB is not required to relay that.

Agreed, FAB can (and do on specific issues) represent the views of the majority.

Don’t know if some were consulted, but know for certain not all were.

They are sticking their oar in and dont represent for all the Blades fans. They cannot understand that the club cannot make comments when a legal issue is being sorted. They are just a few impatient people jumping up & down moaning!

Come on show him some respect. He’s the Chair!
Personally I think that's a very silly thing to be sending right now and the tone is not ideal at best.

A very easy way to lose all lines of communication...

He’s got a title and he’s not afraid to use it…….

It's ironic that some people who liked to coin the phrase bedwetters throughout last season towards anyone who spoke out about the way we played win, lose or draw have now demonstrated some of the exact same traits this last week.

‘-‘ is one of the most popularly inserted pieces of punctuation by AI, it’s one of the things marketers are told to remove from social media posts as it’s a tell tale sign of an article written by AI.
What's with all this .....

I used it sometimes typing on social media. I do not use it on anything official or being published.

Every club has fans who think they're more important than they are. Put these people in a fan's group or give them some other role where they have the ear of people at the club and the ego and self preservation will grow.
