All Sheffield United. Only had 2 Owls fans in 3 generations - both strangled at birth. It wa stough in those days!?.

Maternal grandad: One a passionate Wednesday fan, the other one United but said he used to go to both grounds to see top opposition.
Dads team: Not interested in football but used to like Jimmy Hagan...so more United than Wednesday but nether really
My team: Blades of course
Mums team: Always likes the underdog so always had a soft spot for United but she wants both Sheffield teams to do well really.
A funny fact is that she insists Wednesday have "massive" support and says she remembers in the 60's they used to get over 50K every match.
When I tell her Wednesday got the odd "big crowd" but have never been regularly well supported since the early 1950's.
She says growing up in the 60's...it was always assumed and accepted that Sheff Wed always had massive crowds.

Dads side of the family......small family and not much interest in football
Mums side of the family......massive family who were traditionally Wednesdayites.....most over 50 years of age support Sheff Wed. However many are now based in the Intake area and all the children and grand children are all Blades...almost everyone under 40 support Sheff Utd.

My mum always says....."Your grandad will be rolling in his grave knowing that there are now so many (the vast majority) Unitedites in the family"

My dad worked in Sheffield in the 50s and then returned to Ireland . He would have gone to matches in both Bramall Lane and Hillsborough.
My uncle lived in Sheffield form the 50s until he passed. Not sure he followed the football too much.
So I have been a blade since the early 80s. And would have flown over a number of times to see the blades play. Then about 8 years ago I moved to Lichfield and became a more frequent visitor to Bramall Lane.

Unfortunately my brother decided to support Wednesday. But then again he never had any sense.
