Family split loyalties?

I have pig in-law’s. My father in law is regarded as a ‘super fan’, he’s like king of the pigs or summat. Been to over 1,000 consecutive games, his life revolves around watching the scruffy bastards.

My Mrs has her head screwed on though and married into the smarter side of the divide.

Mrs SJ is a pig, but over the years has softened to a be a Sheffield fan. I'll take that.

Tomorrow Mrs String Senior (Blade) will be at our house watching with us. She's the most blinkered, partisan fan you can imagine. Mrs SJ will be getting it in the kneck all game. She'll take it in good humour, bless her.

Ribeye butties for lunch, which hopefully won't be the highlight 😬

Only member of my family still living who likes football is my Brother in law who is a Blade a I suppose nominally my nephew too but he’s drifted away from the game after going to Uni. My missus and nieces don’t follow the game.

I grew up in S6 - I am the only Blade in our family.
My sister-in-law's twin brothers were both on Wednesday's books until they were released at 17-18.

Very mixed in our household. Grandad, uncle and cousins are pigs. My Dads a Blade but Step Dad a grunter. Most of my mates growing up and still are all pigs.

Dad and I are both blades.

Brother is a season ticket holder for them lot.

Think it was a case of him wanting to rebel and be different when he was younger.

We don’t ever talk about the derby. Ever. He won’t hear from me tomorrow if we steam roller them and I won’t hear from him if we lose it’ll be like it never happened.

Mum and dad not bothered when I was young . Mum started going to the odd game in the 90s to try and have something in common with me ! She loved it that much she started buying season tickets on the Kop lol .only match going pig is my uncle (dads brother) who believe it or not was a blade who went to games at the Lane until he was about 19 ! Have never met anyone else who’s been that stupid !!
As ever UTB!

My brother and best mate to boot is a BIG Wednesday fan. Crazy really as all our family are Blades. Always fun on derby day. Gives me a sense of perspective, I can hate them but not that much.

Thankfully there are no pigs in my family I did have an uncle who preferred them despite going to see both as people did just after WW2 otherwise my dads side and mums side were firmly Unitedites apart from my Aunts family who lived in London they follow Charlton. The wife's family are mostly Unitedites too, I have one brother in law who leans to the dark side, he lived next to the sty and worked there as a steward years ago. A couple of the wife's nieces married grunters though. Another of the brother in law's is a distant relative of Jamie Vardy, he looks like Steptoe too but he isn't bothered about football.

I don't know this person but my work-wife's ex husband (yeah tenuous I know 😉) was a massive home and away owl until about 10 years ago when he changed to the Blades and covered all his owl tattoos with blades ones! 🤯
I'm sure all his mates have loads of respect for him.

My missus's sister said she hopes Wendy win tomorrow earlier.......

Does anyone have any tips on relaying a patio in the dark??

Sorry, I just can’t believe this!
