A late one many apologies been busy watching the greatest game of football ever

What a game that was as Kammy says unbelievable Jeff

Onto the big one , hopefully mcburnie is fit and back in the side we should be pumping teams like these with injuries back fit
My team would be

Manager - Paul Southgatebottom

—-League one Wes——

—-Baldock —-Anel—-Egan—Clark — Lowe-

——-Norwood——Doyle———

——-Berge———-Ndiaye——

————- The dog botherer beater ——-

🥱

Couple of things.
The pitch is likely to be incredibly heavy so not a game for those only just recovering from injury IMO.
Doyle wasn't even on the bench against Huddersfield which would suggest he isn't ready for a start, patiticularly in the conditions.

More important than the line up I'd say is going out to win the game from the off and trying to avoid clinging on with a slender lead should we get one.
Keep it tight and simple at the back and play the football up the field at pace. Tough game with conditions a leveller if we let them be.

If Lowe and Doyle are both fit, i'll go with that. Are they though?

If not, go like this:

Wes
Baldock - Anel - Egan - Clark - Stevens
Norwood
Berge - Ndiaye - McAtee
McBurnie

No need to apologise. The later the better.

Paul Southgatebottom - very good tbh , made me laugh.... nearly as much as some of your suggested previous lineups - the one above looks good

Don't normally read your pre-match threads
but the title won me over....."lactating the latics" would make a great newspaper headline.

Can see it being another cagey, solid defensive performance where we grind out a relatively comfortable 1-0 or 2-0 win.
Would love to see Doyle return but I've given up hope on him returning before 1.1.23, this minor calf strain has lasted ages.

I agree but should we really be doing that against Wigan

Last week Vs huddersfield was ok a good team and thats a draw IMO

Therein lies the problem IMO we hould be mullering these teams

The title doesn’t really work in any way though. Not in any humorous way.

To lactate is to produce milk, isn't it? As in lactating cow... so the title makes no sense. Lacerate would be better.
