I hope the boys don't freeze in a packed Bramall Lane. They must be used to playing in front of a handful of spectators.

got the text about an hour ago and Id imagine that article was written last night so I think the 27K is highly likely. Either way its a fantastic attendace

Make that 27,002.

Just picked up mine, and one for my Mancunian cousin, who, to be fair to him, is probably the only Manchester based Manchester Utd fan i've ever met!

Credit to the club for making it free. Yeh we're going to make a loss but so what? There's going to be over 20,000 fans there for a youth cup game, absolutely amazing!!

Let's give those kids a night they'll never, ever forget.

Should be streamed live over the net somewhere. ********* is a good start.

Don't put streaming links on t'forum. Linz and Foxy could petentially get Dead Done off of the rozzers. Or someone. Either way, they don't like them being listed.

Just think, if they do well in League 1 they could be playing in front of similar size crowds - chance for them to get used to it!

;)

Arsenal got 33,662 against Liverpool the other season, which is a record, so it's a brilliant effort from the Blades.

im looking forward to it more than any match this season-bring it on,lets turn out in numbers and make it a cracking atmosphere-they deserve it.

Every Man Utd fan I know (many) didn't even realise that they had a team of youth players that played in competitive matches. And one even thought I was pulling his leg that it was the Youth FA Cup Final!!

It will be my first visit to Old Trafford for the second leg. And it will mean I have been to OT one more time than any Man Utd fan I know.

2nd Leg Warning!

For those travelling to Oldt Trafford for the 2nd leg, I got this from the BBC feed on the FA Cup final:

1807: Those parades, then, are as follows: FA Cup winners Manchester City will do an open-top bus tour around the city on Monday 23 May, while Premier League champions Manchester United will enjoy their victory parade on Monday 30 May - two days after the Champions League final against Barcelona at Wembley.

It might make getting to Old Trafford difficult from the City centre on Mon 23rd May

---------- Post added at 06:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:25 PM ----------

and for info:

The highest attendance at an FA Youth Cup match was 38,187 for the first leg of the Arsenal against Manchester United semi-final at the Emirates Stadium on March 14 2007 which Arsenal won 1–0

So more than 25,000 isn't bad for a league 2 team.

And the first team must be embarrassed that the kids will get a higher attendance than them this season (23,728)

Surely it'll be on SUTV if its on MUTV, or is Foxy's Twitter feed the unofficial SUTV?

Sky Sports 1 is showing the 2nd leg of the play offs that night and ESPN currently lists women's international football. I refuse to subscribe to MUTV.

Ha ha thats a joke right? Womens football, thats surely a made up game! You're funny. :)

Not unless he activated your card for the match too.

You should be able to see if you log in to online sales and look at your loyalty points.

I thought it was all ticketed. I'm a ST holder and i've got a paper ticket. The previous rounds were also paper tickets, your card wasn't activated.

Depends who you are served by/whether or not you are in your "own" stand.

The previous rounds were ticketed seperately.

I gat my ticket the other day and the girl said I had to use my card although I'm not in my own seat. Sounds like it could be a sell out, over 25,000 sold. :hello:
