WE HAVE A CHANCE

The last 2 games has shown that we can compete in this league, it’s a tall ask to avoid the drop as I think it maybe a bit too late...BUT we have a great chance to progress in the cup if we play like we have in those last 2 games, the midfield look like they did last season.

Such a shame that Fleck shot didn’t go in...

I feel really positive after this week.

You'll need like a billion loyalty points though, and yet still some kids will magically get in.

My way of looking at it is that for a club like us we can never pick and choose so I'll take a cup final even if we can't go.

I'm exactly the same. Staying up vs FA Cup is obviously a hypothetical question as they're not mutually exclusive in any way, but in terms of personal preference, my answer is dependant on fans being allowed in. If we're allowed in then the FA Cup all the way. But winning an FA Cup with us not there just wouldn't be the same - I'd take staying up if that was the binary option.

But the shine was taken away when the new one was built and they started playing semi finals there too. Wembley should be for the final, only.

If you had to choose between a/ winning the cup but not being able to attend matches for for a further two years; b/ staying up and not being able to attend matches for for a further two years or c/ attending matches next month. what would you prefer?

Not attending matches is really starting to grate on me now, so even though I would really like us to win the cup before I shuffle off this mortal coil I am starting to wish we could attend games soon.

However the following teams have all come runners-up in the same period (20 years).

So it's not out of the question to reach the final. Just depends on who you're up against on the day.

They allocate tickets to London Schools not sure what the process is or how to qualify but this is why.

People talk as if they wouldn't want to waste our one stab at a cup final with no crowd. It doesn't work like that. We should go all out to win it, and if we're not there to see it, while it would be a very typical Sheffield United kind of thing, its better than not winning it, and doesn't make us less likely to get into a final in future!

If the team and management have got that attitude, yeah defo no chance of winning it.

I think our manager has a bit more about him than that, so yeah if the team can carry on how they have the last few games, we could go far in the FA Cup and why not win the bugger.

C for me, without doubt or hesitation. I'd rather watch us in the Conference with a flat / warm HT beer out the back of the Kop watching smokers avoid stewards than this ongoing pain of watching football only on television. The TV is good for MOTD and when I've not got enough loyalty points for Bournemouth away

Ha, good point! My hatred of United would only lovingly grow with the thought that these b@st@rds decide to win the cup for the only time in our lifetimes on the one occasion we can't go. Indeed typical United. COYRAWW
