Ryan Reynolds is pretty much classed as an A list celeb nowadays.
Rob McElhenney is more well known in US. But has been in some high profile TV shows such as Lost, Game of Thrones and most well known for Its always sunny in Philadelphia.
Hypothetically if we got owners like them I'd be fairly happy.
I don't think they would have the money to fund us, but they seem well intentioned and have made good progress with Wrexham.
Ps. Think my fav clint Eastwood film is still the good the bad and the ugly.
Never seen the Phily show though it's been running a long time so must be decent enough.
I like how you mentioned Game of Thrones where he played the pivotal role of Ironborn Soldier! I saw his first role was in the Devil's own, the Ford/Pitt film only to discover he starred in 'deleted scene'. He's obviously kicked in from there so GLTTL, not easy getting work in such a competitive industry.
But chiding aside, I think he comes over very well meaning in the documentary and does Ryan Reynolds, especially the way they have embraced the local community and minority groups. In fact the latter I do enjoy watching as he's often quite humourous and doesn't take himself too seriously. The continuous fake feud between him and Hugh Jackman is quite well staged.
Back to the football I'll be interested to see what happens when we get a throw in on the left. I saw Ben Tozer commenting about his long throw. Then Robbo will come up and throw one of his corner like exorcets into their box and he'll be "what? Only I'm allowed to do that!"
Best thing to do is keep possession well, let them run themselves tired, keep them out early on then kill them off as the adrenaline wears off. Don't give too many silly free kicks away either. I like Hecky in these type of games. He is respectful, by no means someone who gets ahead of himself and likely to prepare us just the same as if we were playing Burnley. We will rotate but we've been doing that a fair bit anyway with wing backs rested, strikers rotated and Doyle and McAtee exchanged regularly. It's not a midweek game so no additional concerns other short turnaround of games, just the consideration of accumulated workload and those needing games.
We're the least likely Goliath of them all so if they think some too-good-for-you fancy pants team is what they are expecting then I think they'll be disappointed.
Really looking forward to it. A draw would be good for the documentary and a replay would get us more minutes but I'd happily finish it today and rest up while Burnley, Blackburn and Wednesday face an inconvenient fixture making the first full week of February suddenly busy. Wednesday for instance, need a cupntie between Plymouth and Ipswich like a hole in the head. Whilst Ipswich also play, a loss to Burnley is no great shakes whereas a loss for them is still embarrassing even though they are same division.
