Depending what time you get here, you can actually park for free on crispin lane ( the road that runs behind the Kop end. Failing that the adjacent university has ample parking spaces for a small fee. Don’t park in the nearby B&Q, Sainsbury’s, TKMaxx retail parks. There’s a 2 hour limit. The Plas Coch pub has a decent sized car park, not sure if they charge but they do food and is perfectly placed for a quick getaway post match.

There's 3 hours free parking available opposite the Plas Coch pub at the now closed Argos - next to The Range.
And you might be lucky on a Sunday at RPM Fitness/Wrexham Tennis Centre which also has no parking restrictions.

Some might find the option of parking here and nipping across to Sainsburys Petrol Stations chilled beer and wine cabinet more attractive than going on a hike into town 💡

So to summarise, the Hollywood owners saw a well run sustainable club with potential.

No longer sustainable though, they've put a lot of money in and have a lower end league one wage budget in the National League.
Watched the documentary very interesting for a national league they are spending a lot

I enjoyed the Documentary, you definitely get the sense that Rob isn't the one financing it, its all Ryan. Rob is probably the face for when it all goes wrong. Keeps Ryan Reynolds name dry.

I'd personally field as strong a team as possible, start on the front foot and press the life out of them from the off, no disrespect but they shouldn't be able to cope with that. Reality hits home and hopefully that'll take the sting out of the atmosphere and get us on the front foot. The last thing we need is a needless replay

Missed out on tickets for this one so won’t be going.
But as a matter of interest, Wrexham have a small display of rail seating set up outside the ground that they intend to install in their new kop, it might be worth having a look if you haven’t seen them before as I see so many ill-informed comments on other threads about safe standing / rail seating (they are different things).

Hi WREXHAM fan here was there yesterday one of them games which we could have lost E.G. plastic pitch but a good win could have scored five good defending and poor finishing. Yes we are flying at home have played 16 games in all competitions and one them all . Looking forward to Sunday no pressure on us 😂 not expected to win . Just wish other fans new what our owners are doing for the club we have been shafted for years by different openers but they are a breath of fresh air . Keep hearing. When they walk away 🙈. But they are going to be here for a long time they are both loving it . When the one over they mix with the fans in the bars and in the stands . I’m sure they will be there Sunday . Hope you have a safe journey Sunday and enjoy your day . Not too much though 😂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Hi. On the subject of pitches, what condition is yours due to the recent cold snap ?
Am I correct in saying you don’t have undersoil heating? (A bit like our training pitch at Shirecliffe 😃).
Is it covered in preparation for Sunday ?
Do you think there is any doubt of the tie taking place?
Cheers.

It's warming up for the weekend, shouldn't be an issue 🤞

This could be more of an attraction than the locals realise............

They do indeed – they’ve had a slight set-back on this in the past week or so as a they’d hoped their application for Levelling Up funding would cover a fair bit of their Kop development. Unclear how not getting that will impact their plans, though the demolition work is happening at pace, and hopefully their plans for the stand can still go ahead in full.

They have a display similar to what the Safe Standing Roadshow did a few years ago (by turnstile 1 for those going), though with a slightly different rail seat that looks more like a slightly budget version of the ones at Spurs. They can do that because in building a brand new stand they’ll be doing it to current best practice on row spacing. For older stands like our Kop built to the less spacious standards of the day, there are fewer options to get a licensed standing area – you would have to go for the type we recently experienced at Loftus Road.

4-0 loss on national tv to a non league club Ndiaye,Berge sold for peanuts in the January 23 transfer market. The start of the decline of Sheffield United Fc 2023

It’s a problem for PH. If he picks second string players or academy lads, and rests first team starters, he risks losing to a non league club.
If he picks a stronger starting line up, we make progress in the FA Cup which means more income as well as more fixtures. Income being a hot topic at the club right now.

His likely approach would be to keep the likes of McBurnie and N’diaye on the bench, and only use them if we look like losing or drawing. If I can work out that much, so can the Wrexham manager.

Lucky for you I am not picking the team, but I would prefer a win.

Anyone else think it looks a bit small?

Amazed to think that we're hoping for an FA Cup run so we can pay the bills and turn the heating on. We're at a crucial time. If we fuck up promotion it could be decades before we get a similar chance. We don't need the extra games and the additional risk of injuries. Focus should be solely on seeing promotion over the line, not making a couple of hundred grand. Play the weakest team we're permitted to play. If we lose to Wrexham, so what?

I am looking forward to watching this game. A win and no injuries 🤞

The team that started against Millwall should start.

I say this every time when this topic is being discussed.

Put simply I want us to win every game we play. I can’t bring myself to say that I’m not bothered if we lost at the weekend or even worse, I hope that we do!!!!

How we go about that win in terms of who we play, I’ll leave to the manager, after all that’s what he’s paid for.

Sunday afternoon with a few sherbets seeing our boys destroy the opposition in front of the watching nation. Yes please

Quite a few potential upsets.

Arsenal v City - toss of a coin but one PL team through.
Walsall v Leicester - likely the 2nd PL team through.
Accrington v Leeds - Leeds probably in the hat.
Wednesday v Fleetwood - played them a few times recently. Could see the Pigs out.
Blackburn v Birmingham - probably home win.
Southampton v Blackpool - possible upset here with Big Mick giving them new manager syndrome.
Ipswich v Burnley - possible upset though Burnley favourites.
Bristol C v West Brom - the latter player better, but away.
Luton v Grimsby - upset isn’t impossible but home advantage sees Luton home.
Fulham v Sunderland- potential upset if the home team rotates their team and the away one plays their strongest one.
Preston v Tottenham - you’d expect Spurs to have too much fire power.
Newton Heath v Reading - home win you’d expect.
Brighton v Liverpool - don’t be shocked to see VAR or the ref help Liverpool through.
Stoke v Stevenage - Not an impossible upset but you’d still expect home advantage to take Stoke through.
Derby v West Ham - could go either way and home advantage might see to West Ham who are struggling despite the win over Everton.

So, if we make it through, you could end up with the following options:

Man City
Leicester City
Leeds United
Fleetwood Town
Blackburn Rovers
Blackpool
Burnley
West Bromwich Albion
Luton Town
Sunderland
Tottenham Hotspur
Manchester United
Liverpool
Stoke City
Derby County

Taking a couple of upsets there, you’d have 7 teams above us in the pyramid, in the same division and below us and 2 from the division below.

You could still get a decent draw to take you through to the quarters out of that lot.

big occasion, we just need to ignore all the noise and do our job, leave out ndiaye and Norwood with the former able to come off the bench if were chasing a result

Start with a strong team, keep winning games then make the subs to suit. Plus Wrexham are on a decent run, we only need to look at our noisy neighbours did to the Geordies

You're entitled to your option Dkc. However, there are approx 1200 supporters travelling over to Wrexham on a Sunday, and a few more at home watching on the TV who are not wanting us to play the weakest team and lose to a non-league club. That's what.
