I'd agree Deadbat. But I've been in that position and maybe it's the impatience of me but I'd be there queuing now. Spent many a night waiting for tickets. It's a great effort needless or not.

I kind of agree in some ways. I queued early hours for Exeter the other year (extra tickets we had) and have queued for semi/playoff final tickets (never through night) but gone down say 6 or 7am. However many of those it was kind of first come, first served (no loyalty points). It is a good laugh in some ways and missed it oddly enough when we clicked a few buttons Monday to get ours in like 20 seconds. It was all too easy and did not think I had worked for it!
However, some people are panicking ridiculously by queuing now in my opinion. There are 10,000 tickets left. Even if there were say 1,000 people in queue (doubt there will be more than 3 or 4 hundred even by 9am) and they wanted 5 each; there would still be 5,000 left.
I genuinely think you could turn up tom afternoon when all queues have gone, Mon or even Tues and if you time it right (afternoon) you wont have to queue and can get it done very quickly. I disagree with above about how quickly they will go. We will shift another couple of thousand tomorrow. Maybe same Monday/Tuesday and I would be surprised if we don't have at least 2 or 3,000 left still towards end of week. We have struggled so shift a similar number (slightly more) for Burnley and Huddersfield. That is a not a knock on SUFC fans. It is stupidly expensive (getting there/tickets/hotels if you stay etc) and as I say many have been before.
Theres the little matter that we are the league one club, ie we arent expected to get through, the regulars are as up for it as ever, but the lack of even managing a goal in any previous big games ,Alan Corks scuffed shot apart hardly spurs on the occasional fan. I believe for us theres nothing to lose in this situation , we can give it a real go,, and can spring another surprise, but theres plenty out there thats only been to the showpiece games that will only remember us not showing up . The cost to a family of four , for tickets travel and food and drink now is similar to the cost of a weeks all inclusive holiday abroad which doesnt helpJeezus.
God help the club if we ever became successful.
How would our poor downtrodden fans make it to Turkey for a game only to have to go to Russia a fortnight later.
If they didn't sell out for this then they don't deserve any success whatsoever.
I got stuck on the payment processing screen 1st time around (on my iphone) but got sorted no probs on the laptop.Got my tickets. Originallly had cat 2 but it messed up on me had to re queue (my luck) and I'm now in cat 3.
There's a pic on Bladesmad showing the queue prior to opening stretching down Shoreham Street.
I'm a bit sad, I actually like queuing and if I lived in Sheffield I probably would. One advantage over online, is you know where your seats are and can possibly change if unsuitable[/QUO

Bought mine on line this morning after being given the knock back at the booking office cos I hadn't renewed my membership card. I have 26,000 loyalty points. Something wrong there especially when I offered to pay for the card and got the" computer says no" line. There's a pic on Bladesmad showing the queue prior to opening stretching down Shoreham Street.

I was given the knock back on Thursday as my son had thousands of 'Loyalty Points' but had forgot to renew his membership this year and despite him having been to many games this year home and away his 'Loyalty Points ' counted for nothing !Forgive me - and I'm not getting at the people queuing, I'm glad there's tickets for everyone who wants to go and I know circumstances differ for all - but if they were "hardcore Blades", surely they would have had some loyalty points and not had to wait for general sale?
