Barnsley actually having a go at Chelsea.... Giving them more of a game than we did the other week

Not sure I want to play Barnsley, a championship side that has a go. And good on em.
 
The top Premiership sides are drawn at home or with a short journey.
The one bottom Premiership side is drawn away with a long journey.
What do you make of that Mr Warnock ?!
 
weirdly I think it was potentially the best case scenario draw we couldve got
  • Avoid both Manchester Clubs
  • Leicester, Vardy loves scored v utd
  • Everton having a great season
  • Southampton love playing us
  • i had bad feeling about Bournemouth

Our recent record v Chelsea isn't so daunting. One big victory (3-0, could have been more), one big defeat (1-4), one creditable draw (2-2) and one narrow defeat decided by a soft winner (1-2).

I'm just glad we avoided Man City. The rest of them, on our day, I think we could force a result if a few things went in our favour on the day.

First time we played Southampton many things went their way and the first away game, we scored first.

Man U we've been competitive in 3/4 matches and taken points from half of them.

Leicester, aside from the last away game, both home games could have ended in draws. I still maintain for Barnes' winner the Turkish lad fouled Egan and but for Fleck's miscontrol a draw was in the bag. I'd love to squeeze past Chelsea, they best Man U and then Billy smashes the corner flag from a last minute winner or some other banter celebration!

Everton, we've competed with, and have a square goal difference over 3 matches so it's not like we can't touch them.

Bournemouth probably the 1st pick of course but we are at the business end now, so there are no gimmes. It keep the added interest and being able to point tony wins from 9 should breed confidence and auger well for the coming challenges.

Chris did the right thing with the team selection. For once the fixtures work in our favour. Playing Monday night gives us a decent recovery period.

I'd have rather had bournemouth, Southampton, man u or Everton.. Chelsea thrashed us at their place this season and we're very comfortable at the lane. I think we'll give them way too much respect again and get rolled over by a couple of goals in a complete non event of a game.

Was interesting watch Barnsley last night.. Caused Chelsea loads of problems just by having a go at them and getting the ball in the box early.. We're basically already out with wilders tactics.

That’s the spirit.
 
Not too worried about Chelsea, so long as we can overcome our aversion to scoring. I don't think they're a real threat and would have been one of my top picks to play against, if I had to choose.

I was reading on BBC HYS last night Chelsea fans just think they are already in semi's, they just have to turn up look at last fans and team that thought that yes we fucked you OGS.
 
With our newly established Championship status. We can now genuinely take up the role as the lower league, plucky underdog.
