Back to the subject in hand, sold out. I was one of fifty Blades who queued in the sunshine for a few hours to get the remaining 100 plus tickets. We all got one, queuing does work:).

Can we now have an article in the Stir plotting the exploits of Blades fans as they set out on their various expeditions on Monday night to avoid the carefully laid traps by SYP to prevent us getting to the game.

Some rules for those travelling. Rule 1 don't travel on the tram. Rule 2 don't drink in the Bankers Draft. Rule 3 don't believe any constable who tells you all public transport will shut down at 5 o clock so you have to be on it to get to the game. Rule 4 gen up on the various public order offences particularly the one that states people wearing red and white colours and singing loudly will be committing an offence. Rule 5 don't forget to take your Sheffield A to Z for the Durham Plod so they can get directions to the rust bucket. Rule 6 scrub down and disinfect before setting off. Rule 7 allow plenty of time for the antiquated turnstile to go slowly round and round as you try to enter the rust bucket.

Good luck to all Blades in their endeavours in trying to avoid missing the start of the game. Will lessons have been learned? unlikely.

I do wonder what the Fuzz are expecting to happen - like it or not the VAST majority of the fans travelling will have been the same fans that were in attendance last year, and everyone of them will surely be aware of what happened.

Surely no-one will be dumb enough to go on the Tram? SYP have made a rod for their own back.

What happened on the tram for those of us that didnt go?

All they’re encouraging is our fans ending up in the home end and that brings more than health and safety concerns in. :)

Just the usual delaying and lying tactics by the plod to increase their chances of arrests of football fans by pissing them off until they can't take it anymore.

Same happened back in 2008

The almighty cock up last season absolutely guarantees that United fans will make their own way to the swill
United fans will be roaming around in small unnoticeable groups, mingling with the pigs as they walk down the street
And guess what, there'll be no problems whatsoever

The only slight problem will be as SYP herd anyone looking like a United fan into a large group and tell the entire local area "Here they are look"

SYP have their own 1970's ritual, their own agenda to bunch everybody together creating an us and them scenario

Rusty View will be drinking in his house b4 crossing the road to the away end.

:p
Careful. The forum rules only allow Bert to refer to himself in the third person. Breaking this rule automatically gets you suspended and forced to read Owlstalk while self flagellating with an old copy of Battle of the Monster Trucks.

Far from it being a non-story, it's now the main story on The Star website.

Three separate articles have gone on the Star website since Danny argued relentlessly that it was a non-story (while managing to come across as a complete bell end in the process).

How one can argue that it's not a story worth running in the first place, when multiple pages of click bait tripe such as "this weekend's super computer predictions" are on the Sheffield United page every other day, is beyond me.

May I take this opportunity to fully apologies to Bert and all other members for this slip up. It willl not happen again.

Oh!! .........

DM'd you with name just as you replied. I'll start you off :)

Why Is the Sheffield Derby the Exception to the Rule

Derbies up and down the country are anticipated and dreaded by rival football fans. Each will argue there's is the most fiercest. Yet take a look and you'll see fans separated by just a small gap or a line of stewards. Manchester, Glasgow, North London.

However the Sheffield Derby is the exception. But Why. Today the Sheffield Star will unearth the real reason.........

Glad my crusade and that of pther members has worked.
