Help !!!!! :cry2:

The Bladesworld subscription apart on the O/S, does any one know of any where I can get Live feed Radio or video of the Blades Games.

I can get radio Sheffield via the internet etc, but is there anything else.

I assume that Bladesworld is the best bet but I am open to suggestions, your help would be greatly appreciated. :)

i just use radio sheff when i dont go to the matches, bbc sport sometimes to it but not that often for every week

When we're on Sky, go to http://urlremoved and you'll get the matches there live for bugger all, but you will need to download some (free and safe) software. It's all peer-to-peer stuff, so it can get a bit stop/starty, but it's better than nowt if needs be.

Just remember that it's about 5 minutes behind real time ....... in case you've got the radio commentary on the net too ........

Anyway, off to that site shortly for the boxing!

Not at all. They're all peer-to-peer streams, and so long as it's not over their own server, it's fine. It's like a 'live Youtube' ;)

I've had some perfect ones for the Tests this summer ;)

Just being peer-to-peer doesn't at all make it legal.

They wouldn't have been going for as long as they have done if there were anything dodgy.

Well I'm afraid in law they are well dodgy.

Stealing 5teams is illegal and something this forum will not, and should not, be promoting.

We don't want or need Foxy getting in trouble thanks!

If you want to set up a forum that does feel free!

That comes across as slightly hostile SF... when happyhippy was just trying to help.

However the steams are provided, making someone else's intellectual property available for broadcast without prior consent is illegal.

Streams are very dodgy, and while many people are aware they are exist, we don't particularly like discussion of them on the forums - just so everyone is aware for future reference.

The URL blocking for new members was specifically added to stop people coming on here spamming their 5treaming services which we don't want to be seen as promoting.

However, how anyone uses the private messaging system is beyond our control...

Just be careful with what you download and definitely be careful who you pay...

i agree with linz, its upto the user what they do with the internet, i dont no much about copyright laws, but as linz said it is not wanted on this site which is fair enough, i respect that, but poor old happy hippy was trying to help :D

bah humbug sf ;)

I'm sorry but I don't want illegal activities promoted from my home address!

Perhaps I need to think about this!

All I was saying is that happyhippy was obviously unaware of the legalities of the streams, Foxy had already removed the URLs and so had dealt with it and there are always nice ways of wording things when people are acting in the best intentions to help fellow Blades.

People are now fully aware of our stance on this and so the matter is dealt with and we can continue discussing important matters like...

£2.90 for a pint of watery piss in the stands?!?! :shakehead:

No worries. The link was actually to a site (with a forum!) which provides links to other p2p sites; like a bit of a Radio Times. In fairness to that site, during the last Ashes series, they were banning people for putting up 'hacked' Sky streams. What gets put up are links to streams of free to air stuff, for example they had the BBC coverage of Wimbledon up for tennis fans.

Anyway, no worries about taking down the URL.

The beer has always been awful down there, but when you're a captive audience ..........

Please accept my regrets boys and girls didn't mean to get too deep on the subject. Thanks all....for you comments much appreciated.

The beers always been shit at the Lane, used to get my pints on the John Street, then moved to the south stand and that was worse.

Iam used to Keo or carlsberg in Big bottles for a quid CYP that is about 1.20 sterling to you, so Im not that fussy.
I drink in Ayia Napa bottles only as the draught is worse than that at the Lane, seawater mixed with what can only be described as urine.
