If I here any excuses from the manager or players the shits gonna hit the fan. Fuckin livid
How about the poor excuse for a manager we have on the touch line.

Why is it we always seem to go for the cheap option. Zero ambition shown in giving “Hecky” the job.

Any support I'd given previously re Sander Berge coming good I retract.

Don't wanna see him in a blades shirt again. Useless

Footballers don't realise that if they want out of a football club. If they do the business on the pitch, the move can come around quicker.

bleak biting weather foggy withal: and he could hear the people in the court outside, go wheezing up and down

I don't blame Hecky for tonight, others may but the lack of organisation for their second goal was very disappointing. Ched in acres of space and just far, far to easy to run through this team. We definitely miss Davies and MGW, without them this is what it's gonna be like next season as there's no way we'll be signing those two this summer.

We're skint and it shows with the fact we'll be going for last minute deals when players/clubs can't get rid of players or a player who's options elsewhere haven't materialised and we'll be their best option. As opposed to getting business done early and getting them done for the first week in January.

Training this week has been good and the lads are really taking on board what we are telling them.
2-0 is a dangerous lead and we just aren't used to leading in games and being comfortable. It's a learning curve and we''l take the experience on board.
Delighted that we hung on for the draw at the end, though, and fair play to Wes for the wonderful save that probably secured us a well earned point at a difficult place to go. Proud of the lads and their attitude.
Fucking easy, this Managerial lark!
utb

If only we had a game changing player like their Ched Evans, oh, ‘and on

Fully agree with all that

We still haven’t got over the issues of players not seemingly caring for the club and fans, oh for a Chris Morgan to captain us atm we have captain Pug Wash and his ‘hello sailors’ (Dick Emery style) I thought Hecky was brought in to give us Northern never say die spirit with plenty of bottle not the limp lettuce leaves we have today!

Hecky has won 4 drawn 1 lost 1 in his 6 league games - picked up a shower of deadbeats and looks like he could get a tune from them where Slav bless him seemed lost and clueless

Hecky has a massive job to do and will get no help from the absent leaders

I’m with him

Won 3. Slav was in charge v Reading.

Tonight is poor, but has he lost a game from the touchline yet apart from Wolves ? Whether you think he is a cheap option or not, you can only judge a manager on results

And so far he has been quite the opposite of a poor excuse for a manager

I may be in the minority but I didn’t think we’d played particularly well when we were 2 up?

We seem to play like the players think they’re a class above this league and can play pedestrian football and just walk past the opposition.
We couldn’t cope with Ched Evans after he came on and had the audacity to run about, press and generally get stuck in. His efforts brought about two goals while we continued to stroll about seemingly thinking the points were in the bag? 🤦🏻‍♂️

If we always go for the cheap option, explain Slav being appointed?

Sorry mate but it’s the same send you to sleep dross sideways shuffling Fulham was a fluke decided by a rare piece of quality and a last minute let off was our four leaf clover
What we are watching is no different to the shite we’ve endured for 18 months

Cheap option ? You mean like Slav and Adkins ? Weren't they ambitious ? Wasn't Wilder acheap option ?
Who would you have picked as manager ?

Some of us predicted what would happen as soon as Prince took charge. This is just as we said.

What, we'd throw away a 0-2 lead against a 10-man Preston after sacking Slav a couple of months prior..?

When everybody was getting carried away about heckys start me and my pals were all saying same thing. He couldn’t have had a easier start with teams we played. Even fulham away when they were in middle of what they could call a minor blip. We dropped on to em at perfect time. That last night is where we are. Don’t let the 4 wins blind the reality. I’ve finally come to see it we are a mid table team at best. I thought we were far better than we actually are but that’s football

Here's an excuse for the manager.

He came in and won the first three games, playing football which was better (more energy, better organisation, more commitment) than what was produced before. We also beat Fulham away who are thrashing teams for fun right now.

This board was full of people talking about the play-offs

We then had 4 games cancelled at short notice (so you can't just use that time for training, it's all planned around game day).

We then played Wolves in the cup after not playing for 3 weeks with a COVID outbreak so he had to recall a young player from non-league football and throw him in against a EPL striker. We lost but we gave it a decent go in the situation.

The manager then gets COVID so can't be at the ground/training and we lose 3:0 to a Derby on form.

We go to Preston, he's back, we have a much better first half and go in 2:0 up. We throw it away second half.

During his 7 games in charge (W3, D1, L2)

Injuries/COVID during this period: Olsen, Davies, Stevens, Egan, Fleck, McBurnie, Brewster, Osborn, MGW

He has brought zero players in

We have a mid-table squad. Maybe a run at 6th with a lot of luck. Maybe a slip towards the bottom with injuries and bad luck.

And people are saying he's a bad manager....

I haven't felt like this after a draw since Aston Villa 3-3
What compounds the feeling is if Fodders hadn’t brought is number one game last night the score would have easily been 4/5-2
