Not saying it's true in anyway but you can kind of see why some everton fans think the PL is out to get them.

Point deduction incoming for Dyche's voice being too gravelly.

Oh absolutely, especially when Man C and Chelsea are sat there with huge numbers of (admittedly historic) charges yet to be ruled on.

Problem is, there's always a first club to get hammered when the rules change - and the rules have changed this year to ensure that points deductions are applied as quickly as possible - something which the 20 clubs collectively agreed on.

I'm sure City will end up with a boatload of points deducted/prior titles stripped. Whether or not its enough to drop them into, and lets be clear make a complete joke out of, the Championship for a year, remains to be seen. I can see them getting a c. 50 point deduction, and thus quite easily staying up.

Amazed that Everton got so far down the road with 777. Clearly a bunch of chancers. Before Dozy was named many thought they were interested in us.

Not sure what this means for Everton. They'll almost certainly survive being deducted another four points but could they go into admin?

So Everton might be properly fucked - 777 not stumping up cash they promised as they're seriously financially fucked too

There’s going to be a “big” club going pop soon.

Portsmouth and Derby were close.

More the top 4 ramp things up, the more smaller clubs will gamble to keep up.

Footballs fucked.

Skim read that and thought it said they were taking insolvency advice from Tingo

I suspect prospective buyers now want the club to go into administration as this would allow them to wipe the massive debts they have in terms of loans. They then start with a clean slate and the money they put in can be used to take the club forward rather than paying past debts. Yes a 12 points deduction but that wouldn't apply until next season, puts them in a relegation fight but not certain relegation. Once into their new stadium they will be generating loads more revenue and the new financial regulations that the Premier League voted in this week will allow new owners to spend a lot more than they are currently in trouble for spending.

I've completely changed my tune on the Super League - fuck them off for the health of the league

There’s three types of teams that make up the PL midtable.

The ones with money who spend and get punished for even attempting to challenge the status quo. Newcastle, Villa even Leicester to a degree etc. They have financial backing, and arguably should probably be allowed to spend money, similar to how Chelsea and Man City did.

Then you have the ones who have a semi-wealthy owner. They’re cautious. It’s mid table usually. No threat of relegation. They operate like a business. Sell high and buy low. They’re usually quite well run. The fans quickly get bored, and kick off, but the owners know it’s too much of a risk to even attempt. So they stay realistically the same. Palace, West Ham, Spurs, Bournemouth and Brighton.

Finally. You have those clubs where the owners just think fuck it. And go for the gamble. They either crumble to fan pressure or they’re just complete gamblers. It never pays off. It’s never sustainable. Leeds were the first. Then Portsmouth, Bradford, Forest, Everton etc.

We fit into none of those models. At best we can hope for is the sensible, cautious route. At worst. The fucking lunatic in charge risking the club. We kind of have that, but at least he knows he’s skint.

The top 4 have consolidated. Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal are always going to be the biggest clubs. No beef with them. They’ll always do well. They have a legacy. But, it shouldn’t be so dominated. Used to sneer at foreign leagues for having dominant top 2/3 like Holland, Scotland etc. But it’s the same now.

The whole model is fucking shite. There’s no meritocracy. So it takes out the ambition and just reduces it to boring, stale normality.

I fucking hate City and Chelsea. Those two are the cancers of football. How it’s played, how it’s managed and how it will continue. Corrupt regimes without a care in the world.

Footy won't be happy until it fucks it's self up and then they won't understand how it has happened . The big guys don't care a toss which clubs go under just as long has they keep raking it in paying them selves idiotic salaries paying the odd 100 million for bang average players . Sooner or later the rot will start to creep in to the prem where the bottom clubs will spend money they don't have to cling on to their status of being a prem club. It is frustrating for the clubs who cling on knowing very well they have no chance of breaking into the closed shop that the big 6 or 7 have become . Changing rules like being able to change half the team half way through a match bringing on another bunch of 60 to 90 million pound players on just helps them keep their little clique in tact . Fair weather supporters will flood through their turnstyles while the really true supporters of lesser teams watch their teams living hand to mouth and struggle to keep going.

One owner l’m aware have hasn’t and a lot of people have suggested he’s a cunt.

Yes i know who you mean but its different in his case ,he spent pennies on the squad and he still struggles to pay the clubs due and demands .

Yes. But he’s also pumped millions into the club. Sadly for us it’s not worked. The next transfer window is probably the most important we’ve ever seen.
