To bring Hillsboroughup to near Spurs ground would only cost pro swfc Sheffield council around a billion , surely they can vote this in purely on the legacy it will leave , just like the Don Valley stadium did.

The scandal is that 'the home of football' does fuck all to capitalise on its importance in the history of the largest societal phenomenon on the planet, the blind and deaf fuckwits at the wheel and the general laissez faire attitude of its population.

Exactly, there is plenty of argument that although Sheffield is the "spiritual home of football" just like Rugby is to well to Rugby Union. Football in this country being the FA HQ home is London with both UEFA and FIFA being in Switzerland. Difficult to say now where the true "home of football" is now.
