OK I've posted this a lot, but nobody should ever miss an opportunity...
I honestly thought that was Frankie Boyle talking bollocks.

Steve Nicol in ‘being a cunt’ shocker. Where the fuck have they rolled him out from? Good player in his day but who are they going to bring out next who nobody gives a fuck about... Barry Venison?
Clearly deludemol has long lasting effects silly pig. He says we don’t offer much upfront we’ve just put 3 past chelsea FFS. 30% of the ball 3 goals I’d call that fucking clinical near mind ought else. And as for this narrative of its not Lampards fault his players aren’t good enough, so many pundits has said this after we have beaten teams full of “WORLD CLASS“ individuals this season. The way we perform and our league position is a direct contradiction of that narrative. Just face it were good at football and Wendy are shit.
Yep. Mouriniho quoted "possession doesn't win you games, goals win you games"The limited going forwards thing is a real pain. I recall that Chelsea won the Champions league with a possession % of around 23%. If you have 70% possession and don't do anything with it, then you can lose.
Don’t mean to be a twat, but he was right footed?Steve Nicol talking about us being limited is funny given he used his right foot just for standing on
Exactly that. What a grade A cunt.I liked the bit where he said we were limited going forward whilst commenting on a 3-0 victory.
Nice one, Steve.
Credit to Hinchcliffe (gargles mouthwash) he had it spot on when he said on commentary that we’re defensively excellent but not a defensive team. The thing is, it's an obvious point to look at one of the best defences in the league and say "Well, they could score more", but it's also vacuous. The thing some people miss is how well we use the ball even when we're behind on possession. When we do get the ball, we get bodies forward. Look at Berge's goal vs. Spurs, another game where we had less of the ball than them, and there's SIX Blades shirts in the opposition box when the ball hits the net, and it's worked in with quality to feet. Not just counter-attacking plays either but worked up the pitch, moved around neatly, team goals in that game.
Today, less of the ball but all the chances. We get forward, we move it around, we break when we need to, but the MCBurnie goal comes from a little bit of interplay giving a wing back all the time in the world to pick out a good cross. Chelsea didn't work one crossing position as nice as that all game.
As we look to improve it's going to be about getting more of the ball, because if we could play like we do and up the time we're in control, God help some teams that'll face us.
