Thoughts on the kit?

So United today announce a rear of shirt sponsor that will be applied to all retail kits, across mens, womens and academy teams. All shirts will now carry the “ultimate champions” logo on the bottom of the shirt, below the numbers…

Would this have been agreed a while ago?? Is this a late deal that has also added to the delays in production??

Nice unoffensive logo too. All good

To pass the time, I think we should start a new game "WEEARZ KIT?"

In this multiplayer quiz-based format, eager Blades have to guess the location of Welsh former footballer and football manager Christopher Jeremiah "Kit" Symons.

Hours of fun for all!

1 - White kit says Fulham. Doesn't look like Craven Cottage. Sky blue sock on opponent says maybe Citeh? Is it Maine Road?

2 - That's St James.

3 - On Wales duty, Blue seats. Ninian? Or whatever Cardiff City call their stadium now.

4 - Wishing he was in his happy place

Still no kit a day before the season starts is a complete joke isn't it.

Somebody has to have fucked up, but who, United? or Errea? I can't believe we wouldn't be a priority in front of many other teams, did we not approve a design in time?

Hate to add to your stresses but...

The season starts today

The response so far is that although designs were created over the last 10 months, there are a few things that have held our kits up.

  • the takeover is the main one, we couldn't sign up to the full deal until we knew whether we were going to have a new owner or not, the other united world teams were not impacted by this (although none of them have their kit to buy yet either)
  • other issue is global supply chains, its affecting multiple clubs not just ours.

I can see that people are frustrated and maybe there's something the club could have done in terms of marketing and teasers etc. But I don't personally think we need to be looking for someone to blame, its just something that's happened, which I'm sure we would have rather avoided and, let's be honest, it's a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things

Just been on to the Beerschot and Chateauroux websites and neither of them have the kit available to buy. Guess the delay to get them to sale has affected all of the clubs.
I think you looked at the wrong place because they are already on sale for some time.

I cant believe after 3500 posts people are finding different combination of words to complain about the same thing.

Not sure if this was my first comment on this thread, you've gotta say it's a bit close isn't it though..

It's probably on the last month that people have moaned about delays, the thread has been running since February.

It doesn't matter what the apologists and the blade tinted spec wearers say, it's still a piss poor showing from the club and a missed commercial opportunity.

And it doesn't matter what bedwetters say about the 'piss poor showing from club' when it isn't the clubs fault. All the reasoning, issues behind the delays, have been explained multiple times.

Change of ownership is not a reason to delay making a football kit, if you believe that it is then you are very gullible.

The supply chain issues have also not affected the other United World clubs, so there is plenty of reason to believe that this is not a factor in the Blades kit delays.

The process has been handled badly by the club, this is not bedwetting, it's fact.

If we were the only club where issues had been reported you might have had a slight point.

At what point do we miss the cut off date for the kits to be included on the new FIFA game? Absolute uproar if we miss that boat
