Thoughts on the kit?

I'm an arch traditionalist when it comes to the home shirts.

Away shirt, little bit more flexible.

But for the third kit, for fucks sake do something a bit more bold and radical than a black polo neck t-shirt.

I quite like it, should't have bothered with the white kit or the green keeper kit and just had these instead.

Black kits are shit. Allus have been, allus will be. They're for referees and lino's. That keeper's top is a shagger though. 😻

I can’t wait for when in the next couple of years there will be a 2hr action film unveiling our new kit.
Maybe on the theme of Iraq coming for our SuperGun we were building for Sadam. Shame it’s sat at in a museum in Portsmouth

3rd shirt is really nice. 3 decent looking shirts this season for me. Others who have seen them closer seem a bit more discerning but they end up washed and fucked within 3 months anyway so the quality of stitching isn’t something I worry about!

Both outfield and keeper third shirts are class. Any idea, though, why the Randox logo has to be so big? It overwhelmed the home and away shirts last season and it looks like it's doing the same to this one.

Yellow with red trim was the obvious choice for an away/3rd shirt. I think it would have been a fan favourite. Missed a trick there. Not sure why we'd opt for the same colour scheme on a 3rd shirt that we've literally just had.
Just getting a like for that first bit.

Yellow shirt with red trim, red shorts, red socks.
I'm not sure why we never do this. It'd go down like a freshly baked loaf.

Got to be honest. When you compare our kits to that of Beerschot and Chateauroux they are very basic. Liked it with our home and away kits as they are simple retro looking kits but had hopes for some detailing in the 3rd. Obviously not seen any close ups but looks just plain black with gold trim? No little blades in the fabric etc from first glance and that is disappointing for me.

The website describes it as - "The new third kit has been designed with a theme of classic Italian elegance and style whilst celebrating the city’s heritage of football."

I don't dislike like it but the training gear is more exciting than this

No, its shows some 'fries' in a bread cake, my nan would be disgusted at the sight of that!
A chip should be cooked in lard or dripping, in a black pan that your nan keeps in the pantry!View attachment 141613
Ketchup? Blasphemy! Salt & Hendo's is the max permitted - not even vinegar.

Yes, agreed, cooked in lard preferably, with the small burnt bits left on the chips.

Plus, buttered on the top only (so it melts over the chips and doesn't sog up the bottom slice.

Note, salted butter only, no spreads nor margarines allowed whatsoever.

It's a chip butty not a chip margy nor a chip spready!

Is this whole thread some big wind up I'm not in on ?

Does anyone know where this video was filmed?

Do you have any suggestions for where future kit release videos will be filmed?

* I don't really care, but 200 pages is the dream.

I believe it's Cutlers Hall.

Or possibly Sheffield Town Hall.

Celebrating the city's heritage of football?

Where and how?

It's plain black.
