A lot of praise (rightly) going to Sharp and Mcgoldrick today, but how good was Enda Stevens. Been absolutely fantastic this season. I actually thinks he's getting better and better as the season goes on. Not bad for a lad I thought should be replaced in the summer. Fantastic effort and is now a top top championship player!! I'm enjoying eating this humble pie. Top class!!!

Said it before, think Johnson has to have played a part in his upturn in form. He’s gone from the poorest performer last season to one of the better ones this.

All it needed was to be pushed with some competition

I think he’s probably our most improved player season on season. We’re now seeing the kind of form that we only saw in the first month or two last season and he’s become a key player for us.

He was my M.O.M up until the goals went in .And then I knew Sharp would get it.

Hopefully he can start hitting the target soon too, he's hitting the woodwork with some lovely shots, hope he bags a couple in the second half of the season, it'll do his confidence the world of good.

You lot should have seen him last season; he was exceptional then too. First half today was an attacking masterclass, second half he (and Baldock) defended manfully. Then Enda laid on that beautiful assist for the third.

Several of our players been in the shopwindow with so many games live on sky, sure they've been noticed, Stevens, Baldock, O'connel,Norwood could all be targeted by lower prem sides. Way of the game when you deliver.

He's fast becoming star at this level. He dropped off last season but is showing he has learned from that, looks a quality player right now and if he keeps it up this time around we will be in good shape come May.

Not sure about anyone signing Norwood, we haven't even made him permanent yet.

The pass for the 2nd was exceptional, he looked up and picked his man, it was no hoof up the pitch.

Still wish he would put first time crosses in and his thow in a bang average, no variation. But agree he is much improved and reliable, not bad last year, but now good.

Was out on Dublin’s Northside, with our lasses father day after St Stephens day , and bumped into a few lads who know Enda and his family, saying he fucking loves our club and city ,
Surprised that Sheffield United had fans over here , said next time he’s over they’ll arrange a meet

A lot of the St Pats fans are also keen Blades

He’s a premiership left back in my eyes.

He's been excellent for the majority of this season. We look so good down that left hand side.

I know mate , first meet some of them going to Wembley for Udders play off defeat.
Then hooked up with them , after meeting up at Dublin airport coming over for pigs game last month ,
Close to 20 Irish Blades came over for the game

I privately moaned like hell about him last season as a weak link, though wilder was always supportive. Now he is consistently one of our best performers. Shows what coaching and man management skills we have got. Also a reminder as a supporter not to think you know it all and that what you don't see off the pitch is important. Huge credit to the lad to not succumbing to the groans from the crowd last season and keeping his head up.

Half time appraisal from a Blackburn Rovers forum:

Good half. Took some notes.

- Would love a Jack O’Conell in a Rovers shirt

- Travis brining mobility and energy to midfield

- I am fine with either Smallwood or Evans, never both.

- Palmer doing really well, big sting and skillful. Tracking back really well too. Impressed.

- Much better Fromm lenihan.

- if we calm splash 7m on Brereton, I would pay the same for Reed. What a player.

- the left back Stevens for them is a nightmare.

- Reed is unbelievable, don’t remember a better all round midfielder in a rovers shirt.

- Brereton should have scored but has done well up front. Learned a few arse tricks from Graham by the looks of things.

- Bennett scares the shit out of me. A goal is coming from that side.

- really close a few times on the break, ball just getting nicked at the last minute.

Is he due a song???

Consistent outstanding performances deserve a song - can only inspire a player more surely.

Enda, Edna show us yer ? Enda? er well it's a start :p

His elevation into the Irish national team has been the making of Enda , given him that extra belief in himself , reminds me of the same happening to Dave Powell many years ago.

Quality from everyone today second half, but gotta say, this lad bossed it.

Take a bow lad, take a bow.
I’m a huge fan of Enda but he went missing lately. Everything seemed to be down the right. I don’t think it’s a coincidence we look a lot better when he’s bombing it down that left.
