I used to lock horns with Curtis on BladesUnited, and as far as i know he has never been on this board (Under the Curtis name at least) while i've been a member.

There can only be one Curtis but I may well have got the boards mixed up.

why not , we are here as its our level , or has been for 4 years , dont remember man city fans complaining about only getting out via the play offs or west brom fans they took it
at the end of the season winning the title by 20 points or spossing a 1=0 play off final win with an own goal after finishing 6th 8 points adrift of 5th ,,,, gets the same result , a place in the championship

we could beat say burton on penalties after 2 semi draws and limp to a 1=0 ugliest of wins in a final , but the result is everything , not looking good
Huddersfield got beat at home in the semis and didnt score in the final , but got up

Manchester City and West Brom both went up at the first time of asking from this division. Not quite 5 years is it?

AND ?
I was on about winning a play off being just as good as finishing 2nd ,
nd winning when not being too good
how long anyones been here is irrelevant

well not to a couple of thousand of them that have no faith
we are 1 point , that is ONE off 6th and have lost in 8

we are the only club whos fans see a draw as a 8=0 loss

Again, you didn't watch the game yesterday so you have idea how the people who did watch it should feel.

yes Ive never seen us play badly and draw at home over the past 50 years
Ive never seen us take a lead then fade away
never seen any team do that in 50 years either
good argument
Some games , as Ive argued for years, in fact most games are boring
the year s weve gone up , theres very few games that stand out over 46 played
more than half will be dour dull dreadful affairs
why should this season be any different

It would be a good argument if I'd made it, which I didn't.

I did watch yesterday's game. And you didn't.

So I have rather a better idea of how we played and what the reactions of our fans should be.

Can't ever recall anyone using the name Curtis on here. And if he is as bad a winduppist as everyone reckons I'm sure I'd have told him to fuck off on at least one occasion. That kind of sticks in the mind.

Is he as bad as Lenners or Micalijo were? They were a pair of cockends. Trying to think who the other class clown was that liked to patronise people, but their name escapes me. Another senior moment I'm afraid.

He's got that big telly though Pete!

NONE, I repeat none of the fans who turn up in their thousands every week, are to blame for the current malaise enveloping the Lane. Being 1pt from a Division Three play off spot is nothing to celebrate.

You, sir, are nothing more than an apologist for the incompetents who have run this football club for the past 8 years.

You are of course correct - nothing to celebrate, but where you are wrong, is that we ARE 1 point off a play off spot in the division that we currently play in.

It seems that if we are not top or second, then everything else does not matter - well, sir, it does matter to SOME of us.

Some live in the real world - of third tier, trying to get out.

Our form this season is mediocre to say the least, but that is where we are and some just go with the flow - some do not. There was a very fine line yesterday, that although I was really impressed with the new manager Swindon had, if Billy had stuck away a relatively easy header chance at 1 nil, the game would have been over IMHO.

I take it you will not be going to Wembley should we actually get there?

I should be delighted to get out of this division this season. However, with the current team, I feel there would be more chance of me having a civil partnership ceremony with Will Young on the Kop at Hillsborough with Gary Megson as best man.

I would go to Wembley, shift pattern and holidays permitting.

again who mentioned blame, when did I say its the fans fault we were flat
I said theres fans who have given up on us, ie our chances of the play offs
show me where I said thats causal for the teams performances

8 years now , nowt like making it sound worse actually we were in a championship play off final in that time scale

you sir are making out its worse than it is
