A tear in my eye too as my dad who has been with me on the kop for the last fifty odd years passed away on August 12th 2020, before which he asked for and got Annies Song at his funeral. At least I won't have to listen to him voicing his opinion including 'get it in box' 'have a shot' and best of all 'Sharps crap he should have scored there!' So when BS does eventually score again this season and I hope it isn't too long I will look skywards and think 'there Dad I told you so'

Looking forward to seeing you all again UTB

I have the misfortune to sit close to the Spitbeast family who reside on around row uu on the kop.I am really hoping they wear their masks. The entire ground is well within their spraying range.Daddy Spitbeast has on occasion cleared the Stand with a wind assisted snotball!!!!

I spoke with a fellow season ticket holder myself the other day who also said he's not going due to what's going on behind the scenes. Respect that choice but crikey - this isn't exactly S6!

Yeah, the healthy transfer budget from the last few seasons, numerous academy and first team assets, ground improvements, reasonable ticket prices, and general improvement of the football club in nearly all aspects cannot be allowed to stand.

Prince out.

The argument is that it was Wilders success that brought us all those things and not the prince, which I tend to agree with.

Personally, I can't think of a place I'd rather be come Saturday night!

Pretty sure I'll be an emotional wreck come kick off Saturday - just seeing a few familiar faces who you sit near or just see at the game, whether you actually know them or not, and hoping, just hoping that some seats aren't empty for a heart breaking reason.
And when the Greasy Chip Butty song blasts out . . . well . . . just hoping I'll be able to hold it together and join in?!
Wow, getting all emotional about it NOW just think about it!!! . . . . . Now where did I put those Man Up pills??? (Please don't let me start blubbering like a bitch).

COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WIIIZZZAAARRRDDDSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mate,it’s definitely not a case of “manning up”
I can assure you there’ll be about 25000 grown men who’ll be a tad(very) emotional too,me being one of em!!
Don’t be afraid of showing it mate!!

This Saturday will be strange.

My son (8) has counted the days since we last went, and I don't think I've seen him this excited on a Christmas Eve. Genuinely think he will explode on Saturday.

I am close to being the same. However it will be tinged with a bit of sadness. Since the last game v Norwich, my grandad's health has severely deteriorated and wont be able to attend matches anymore, so 4 generations attending matches will become 3.

I don't usually post stuff like this next bit, but feel I should. People who are fortunate to enjoy matches with their children, fathers/mothers, grandparents etc shouldn't take it for granted - a small thing, I always wanted a picture of the 4 of us together at the Lane - always put it off thinking 'get it next game' etc, now I don't have one, I'm gutted.

I have tried contacting the club to see if it would be possible for us to nip down on a non-match day to have a picture in our seats - fingers crossed they help out.

Bit weird having the manager on twatter innit.

Can’t wait, going to an emotional and strange day for me personally. Losing my Dad to covid and him not sitting next to me will be a strange one, but he’ll be watching. Gunna miss the debates before and after the match! But I can’t wait to see a packed stadium and old faces again.

Might have thought this was a good opportunity to get away from you ;)

Could easily be nothing to do with Covid though, at least 3 from our crowd havent renewed because of Wilder and they've been life long season ticket holders
He’s left they can come back now !!

There’s one shoutbox member who thinks Covid is hilarious, an apology to one or two posters on this thread would be appropriate….

Strange that we don’t have any female support though, isn’t it.
