Has the referee explained why he didn't send off ?
While in no mood to be an apologist for the state of the team etc, the decision not to send him off and his subsequent goal was a travesty on par with Tevez. Wonder if Mccabe will be onto the lawyers again
I've not seen it as the BBC saw fit not to show the incident in the 'highlights'

Another stupid thing that occurs is when a player is injured and then has to go to the side whilst the player who caused the injury stays on.
I know this was done to stop players feigning injury, because that's worked judging by the number of players rolling around in the Premiership every week for the slightest touch, but at least send both players to the side to even up the numbers.
