Fine, Is it ok for me to grab you by the scruff of the neck and march you down the Kop stairs, and pass your selfish arse to the plod, next time you push onto the seating row to look like you belong there at the back of the kop?
WTF are you going on about Mr AngryFine, Is it ok for me to grab you by the scruff of the neck and march you down the Kop stairs, and pass your selfish arse to the plod, next time you push onto the seating row to look like you belong there at the back of the kop?
Yeah try harder, you shit.Try harder.
So you don't have a seat at the back of the Kop, haven't seen twats pushing their way onto the rows at the back, But you know people who say it's not selfish twats bullying their way on? Fuck it then, lets tell the council and SAG to fuck off and let em shut the Kop for good eh? Thats the mindset of the folks claiming it's not a problem...I have no idea what the relevance of that comment is. After the statement has anyone actually got any evidence people are still mobbing gangways & overcrowding the back because I'm not too far from the back of G myself, I've seen nothing & everyone I know who stands at the back (decent sized sample) says absolutely none of it seems to have happened since.
Despite this everyone keeps talking about "selfish twats not listening".
Have you lot seen something i/we haven't?
Have you seen "selfish twats bullying their way on" since the announcement or are you making it up? Because I stand 20 rows from the back, there's none of it near me and my pals at the very back say there's no overcrowding anymore, infact there's some empty seats. Have you actually seen issues since the announcement? So you don't have a seat at the back of the Kop, haven't seen twats pushing their way onto the rows at the back, But you know people who say it's not selfish twats bullying their way on? Fuck it then, lets tell the council and SAG to fuck off and let em shut the Kop for good eh? Thats the mindset of the folks claiming it's not a problem...
I think you are over estimating the intelligence of a proportion of our fan base. The message has been delivered very clearly but some people can't be arsed to listen. The fact that even now people are not understanding a pretty simple issue shows the clubs communication has been poor. Have a video with players and staff putting what the club wants fans to do in simple bullet point sentences.
hes just told you he’s not far off the back and neither am I but don’t take lour word for it. I’m sure you are able to evidence this still happeningSo you don't have a seat at the back of the Kop, haven't seen twats pushing their way onto the rows at the back, But you know people who say it's not selfish twats bullying their way on? I concede. Just lock everyone up and throw away the keyI think you are over estimating the intelligence of a proportion of our fan base. The message has been delivered very clearly but some people can't be arsed to listen.
Ever been in the bogs at the top of the kop. There's an "in" door and an "out" door. There is a clue that the wash bases are by the out door. But 40% of people go the other way causing fucking chaos at every game. This is just more of the same
Yes, I've been one of them in the past (10 or 15 years back), not proud of it, but it was accepted at the time. Now it's an issue that could lead to the kop being closed, I will support it stopping and of course no longer contribute to it. It's always gone on for big games especially, let's not kid ourselves. We just need it to stop now, if we do it quickly it could well lead to us getting safe standing back there sooner than later.Have you seen "selfish twats bullying their way on" since the announcement or are you making it up? But yes I agree we should tell them snowflakes to fuck off.
As comparisons go that one really is far out man.Precisely what Wendy said before the Rust trap disaster.
What could possibly go wrong.
I said have you seen it since the announcement? I have no idea what the relevance is.Yes, I've been one of them in the past (10 or 15 years back), not proud of it, but it was accepted at the time. On the subject of the IN / OUT signs on the toilet doors at the top of the Kop, did anyone else notice, both signs have now disappeared .I think you are over estimating the intelligence of a proportion of our fan base. The message has been delivered very clearly but some people can't be arsed to listen.

Lets meet at half-time in front of the bogs midweek and go look together?I said have you seen it since the announcement? I have no idea what the relevance is.
My point wad these "selfish twats" did as they were told after the announcement. It isn't happening anymore.
Bettis on the phone to chief constable, "so what it is fella, is I'd like you to put armed coppers at the back of the kop, only 6 of em mind, spread about a bit, then when........hello, HELLO. BuzzzzzzI agree with all that, but I am sorry, I did piss myself laughing when I read the bit about armed police.
“How did your Jordan die?”
“Was shot after being sat in seat 180 row AB, rather than seat 179, row AA”.
Personally. I don't see it as an issue. That won’t be much comfort to STHs usually in that area, but should mean more on the Kop overall than recently
The council hasn't required United to do anything by law - if it had you would have read about it as that would be a particularly big deal.Everything you are saying here is wrong..
Nope. Infact in my experience most of us who stand up actually like it being quite crowded and rowdy. Definitely makes for a better atmosphere when it is.The council hasn't required United to do anything by law - if it had you would have read about it as that would be a particularly big deal.
In reality, something that is relatively minor and has gone on for years has blown up into a major issue with the club really not helping themselves.
Might have missed it but still haven't seen what the specific safety issue is or if there is one whether it really merits effectively closing more than 20 per cent of the kop.
My impression has always been that some fans gather at the back of the kop and have done for years and everyone knows the score who gets a season ticket in those areas.
Happy to be shown to be wrong but are there loads of fans who sit in those areas complaining?
Due to the cost of expansion against return we aren’t going to extend unless we’re in the PL for something like 5 consecutive seasons or someone with daft money to spend. Before these restrictions i was all for extending the capacity. In the PL its going to be a right joke. If pigs can get 34k in L1 why can't we get more in the PL?

Sounds like you're one of the culprits that invites his mates without tickets onto the row you have one ticket for just because you "like it feeling crowded and rowdy". What a stand up (not selfish) guy you are!Nope. Infact in my experience most of us who stand up actually like it being quite crowded and rowdy. Definitely makes for a better atmosphere when it is.
Been absolutely dead since the "selfish arseholes" did as they were told
A view from the Westfield corner. After the decision to stop selling tickets the kop has appeared to be much fuller, this is due to the fact people are sitting in the correct seats and therefore more evenly distributed. The South stand side used to look completely deserted but now it is fairly well populated. Another indication of the change in behaviour is that you can now see through the exits at the top of the kop so that the houses on Shoreham street are now visible, it used to be a mass of people around those exits for the whole game. This does suggest there was a problem before the changes, but from a distance it looks like it has now been resolved.I said have you seen it since the announcement? I have no idea what the relevance is.

We won't be getting safe standing anytime soon though so let's no bother pretending we might. We will have a permanently worse atmosphere due to less of these loud lads at the back. This has been very evident to anyone in the back right in recent weeks.
I stand in my own seat. Before the announcement sometimes there was a few stood around us who "shouldn't" have been (none of us cared). Since the announcement there's empty seats and the atmosphere is even more shite than usual. Like I say it seems to me everyone listened. Nobody has yet actually said they've seen any problems. They just drone on about "selfish arseholes" without stating evidence.Sounds like you're one of the culprits that invites his mates without tickets onto the row you have one ticket for just because you "like it feeling crowded and rowdy". I took this picture early on during Saturday’s game, and it’s been like this ever since the ticket sales were restricted.

I can’t believe the safety group haven’t noticed this change, and from the reports of kop goers it seems like people are by and large behaving themselves. Therefore, why are the SAG suggesting the problems are still there?

Why were we under any obligation to care before the announcement? We didn't see it as a problem. Everyone was happy. Nothing selfish about it.(none of us cared)
Just goes to show, how much of this thread you ignored. Tales of season ticket holders pushed about, unable to see and intimidated. But you appear to not care about anyone else but your little world...."Everyone was happy"...Why were we under any obligation to care before the announcement? We didn't see it as a problem. Do you always talk to people like this?Just goes to show, how much of this thread you ignored. Tales of season ticket holders pushed about, unable to see and intimidated. But you appear to not care about anyone else but your little world.... what does that make you....? hmmm? Need a clue?...
Why would you being part of the problem be part of the problem?Do you always talk to people like this?
Why does that happening in other sections have to do with me? How does that make me selfish for not caring about a couple of extra lads standing on my row lmfao.
