Ellis Simms

No way are Cov telling players they don't want them in the Prem, before they're even promoted 😅
Simms has only started once in the last 8. Coventry only won one of his last four starts. He hasn't scored a goal since mid January. He's struggling to score or assist from the bench.

You would expect Coventry to make one or two striker additions if they do go up.

Lampard may not be overwhelmed by him, which Simms may have sensed, and his agent may well be looking around for possible clubs, or managers, who rates him higher.

Wilder may think he's the next Didzy?

He’s definitely not good enough for EPL, so it would make sense them letting him go.

He’s really not very good though so it feels like a gamble we don’t need to take. He went for a big fee when Cov signed him.

Very hot and cold (usually cold). Wouldn't say no if it was a loan or relatively cheap as there is probably a player there if you can get him going.

Seems like a typical wilder 'project' type of player, would either be amazing or disappointing

He's one I think there's a very good chance ends up here.

But only if one or both of Cannon and Campbell can be moved

Guarantees goals at 1 in 3 ratio. We aren't doing nothing next season with strikers as passengers like this season.

Only Bamford has some credit for me.

Hadn't seen that Winker Bassette in a Coventry squad for a long time, they've loaned him out this season and he's currently with the European club giants Kaiserslautern.
