Fantastic signing and what a bargain ! God knows what is worth is now
Wasn’t one of them Richard Wood. Egan certainly not reached the heights of himWe all remember the pigs '£20m defence', our back line must be no less than £80m. Dare say more.

Yes Egan was on loan to us briefly. Can’t remember too much about that spell other than thinking he was an average fill in. To be fair he was only a young un thenWas reading a thread on here a few days ago. One poster was talking about the Oldham game where we lost from being 2-0 up. It mentioned the back four and how shite it was. It had Egan in it. I checked, had forgotten/ not registered, he had been on loan before.
Of course, given my age, I might have dreamt all this or made it up.
Wikipedia says this is true. Stringjunior absolutely no recollection of this. © BertI checked, had forgotten/ not registered, he had been on loan before.

Thanks for accentuating my age related falibility. That's the last like I ever give you.Egan didn't play in the Oldham game. He played in the 3-2 defeat away to...........Walsall. Obviously.
Gordon Cowans and Paul Reed?Could be an interesting new thread.
Players You Never Knew Played Together
John Egan and James Beattie
Billy Sharp and Adrian Littlejohn
I seem to remember that Leon Clarke had already played with half our team before we even signed him.
Coutts at Preston, Fleck at Coventry, Duffy at Scunthorpe and so on and so forth.

Be good to find out the shots per game ratio our opponents up to date have had against other teams compared to when they’ve played us..We all remember the pigs '£20m defence', our back line must be no less than £80m. Dare say more.
Altgough if I remember rightly Matt Hill had a worldly away at Brentford when we won 1-0. Was pissed though at the time so might have been wrong.
You must have been pissed.
Hill is one of the players with the most appearances for us who never scored a goal.
I meant he played well. I’ve never in my life been pissed enough to think Matt Hill scored a goal.
Chris Wilder and Danny Cullip.
