First game - Birmingham (A) - Friday 8pm
Boxing Day - Coventry (A)
Final game - Oxford (H)

As long as we are at home on Boxing Day (to piss off the pigs), that's all that matters.....traditional now innit!
I'd prefer Boxing Day away as it's the only game of the season that I can't realistically get to by public transport from Morley.

just a load of guesses. might all be wrong

i think we will play friday night opening match. maybe at home v derby

we will be away on boxing day. v blackburn

home on 29th/30th December v stoke

home on 11th april

away on the final day

First - Birmingham - home
Boxing Day - Coventry - away
Last - Millwall - home
Went to Coventry a few years ago on boxing day 90's i think, when there was a monsoon. My mate had just bought a burger when the heavens opened up. After about 30 seconds of the heavy rain all the bread had washed away and he was left holding a scabby piece of meat. Funny as fuck at the time, never seen rain like it for that time of year.

First game - West Brom (A)
Boxing Day - Hull (H)
Last game - Portsmouth (H)

Nailed on that we play Bristol City and Swansea away in midweek.

Opening Day - Leicester (H)
Boxing Day - Birmingham (A)
Last Game - Derby (A)

Games against SWFC (1990) will be played in Mid-Oct and Early-March.

Southampton first match of season
Birmingham boxing day
Watford last match of season.
1 point out of a possible 9 YHIHF ....

The opening of Friday night match will be Wrexham against whomever, SKY will make sure of that. I wonder what the betting odds are on that?

1st Boro (a)
BD: Hull (h)
Last: Bristol C (h)

its surely our turn to be at home first ,, wendies at home would be spot on
boxing day southampton away , local EFL idea of a local derby
last day LEICESTER away shades of 1990

Play the pigs at home on the final day, celebrate us winning the league and sending them down with the lowest points total ever, and we know that BEFORE we kick off, just sit back and think about it, we've won promotion and they are doomed a week before the game.🤭

Home to a bottom quarter side to lock off with a win, actually nice to not be minus 2.at the start

Do we haha?

Preston A
Palace H
Watford H
Birmingham H
Wolves H
Bournemouth A

I cba go any further back 😂

Yeah the theory is flawed.
In 4 of those 6 seasons, United were the team that had moved leagues. The 2 times we didn't move leagues, we played a team already in our league (Watford and Wolves).

Before that it was:

Swansea (h) (already same league)
Brentford (h) (we had moved league)

I was there that day. Think it was just in the 2000's. We played them away boxing day 2 year's in a row. Jack Lester scored a pen in one of them. I seem to remember it been around the tsunami happening
