Effort and commitment

Won us the game today. We were hanging on a bit at the end because we gave so much.

If we can get fitter and do that for 90 minutes who knows what we can achieve.

We played one of the more organised teams today and out-fought them. A team I believe will be in the play-off. We need 3 or 4 more players in as our bench is weak without missing any important players.

Get that sorted and who knows.

When I was walking past the Shell station on Bramall Lane on the way home, I overheard a couple of Brentford fans talking.

One was quite animated saying the reason we won was that we had passion, togetherness and team spirit. He said to his mate 'did you see how they all celebrated together and mobbed each other when we scored'.

I thought he was spot on

Is it just me or did we not keep a clean sheet for the full ninety minutes. Yes we had some hairy moments .But Brentford had more .Do they need 5 or 6 players

There pretty to watch but we out battled them and outran them.

The stylish side will always hate to lose to the side with not as much style but hard work.

I thought Brentford looked good. Much better than Sunderland and derby on Friday. They play fast free flowing football and break on the counter with pace. Reminded me of Chelsea last season.

We rode our luck a little and after a few more games they would probably take their chances.

We worked hard, played some good stuff at times and I don't think Brentford can feel too hard done by the result.
