Player Suggestion Dylan Bronn

22yr old CB currently playing for Gent in Belgium. He transferred from Niort in France in the summer for £1m. He' splayed 30ish times in the french 2nd division and 30ish times in the belgian 1st division. He usually gets a goal every 15 games. He's french, but has been called up to the Tunisian national squad and will more than likely go to the WC in the summer. He's a touch over 6ft, athletic, mobile and likes to play the ball out from the back. He's cultured, but doesn't mind mixing it. He's right footed, but can use his left. He's a little raw, but has potential and could do with putting a little muscle on and becoming more composed. I think he'd excel in a back 3, and could link play well.

In the flesh? A couple of times. I've also watched him in live feed games. Why? My suggestions are meant to be raising players to chat about, hopefully others have seen them play also or know about them. They're not definitive scouting recommendations.

I've never seen him play so I have no idea what kind of player he is which is why I asked.

I regularly watch over 30 matches a week on live feeds from around the world and I try and watch about the same number live in europe throughout the season. I try and take in not only 1st but 2nd division games in France, Spain, Italy & Germany. I also attend full & youth international games. If a player has caught my attention, I try to watch them live. Just for my general interest & curiosity.

If the question you are asking is have I seen enough of Dylan Bronn to seriously judge him, then no. If that is the bench mark for 'Player Suggestions', then I'll make sure that abide by that in future. No worries.

*Edit: I've just checked and i've only actually seen him play live once in early 2017.

Looks like a candidate for RCB. Another interesting foreign player suggestion.

I suspect many Championship clubs know all about any players standing out in the Belgian league so there'd be plenty of domestic competition for players like this. But we need to start throwing our hat into the ring for them.

He's fallen out with the Gent manager and been frozen out there after an eventful summer with transfer links and the AFCON.

Looks certain to leave in January. Fiorentina, Sevilla, Betis and Frankfurt wanted him in the summer and the latter are linked again with 7m Euros touted.

But they're not in the strongest negotiating position and could sell for less than that, possibly £5m.

This could be a good opportunity for top end PL side Sheff Utd to throw their weight about.

He'd be very useful cover for Basham and a possible successor. Cover for RWB and LCB too.
