According to his Instagram, posted on FB. Kids presents stolen.

There really are some scrotes out there.

Not sure if the link will work as it's from a closed FB group but have tried to post below.

Come on Police, catch the evil twats. Although I don't hold out much hope.
Remember he gave us lot the best ever present. Thank you Mr Duffy. I hope you and your family can still have a great Christmas.

Poor Duff and family. From recent personal experience, it can be a very unsettling thing to deal with--particularly if there are young children in the house. Then there are hours and hours of follow-up Plodtime.

Did this happen yesterday ? Wouldn't be surprised to see him missing from the squad again today, if so.

About as much chance of finding the shits as they had investigating my van break in last month. Everything nicked and on cctv but no chance of getting them. Worse when its your house thats done though i bet. Get some goals today Duff - it’ll make you feel better

Determined to play. Wilder has told him it was the Villa keeper

Sick to death of that kind of stuff. It happened at my family home in 2013 they targeted car keys on my road and the police said "we know exactly who it will of been, we just can't do much if we don't catch them in the act"...Just another bracket SYP are absolutely useless with.

It's ridiculous the amount of houses that are getting robbed. Ours got done over Wednesday afternoon, smashed french doors in and trashed the house they took TV, Ipads, laptop, xbox, phones etc. I can replace those with insurance but they have mentally scarred my young kids and just before Christmas too. It's about time the authorities stopped treating the scum that do this so leniently, if and when they do catch them they get a slapped wrist or a nice comfy cell for a few months. Something needs doing, it's getting out of control.

Sorry to hear it mate.
Maybe we could bring in just the one Sharia Law and cut the bastards hands off.
It's tough to carry a TV in your teeth.

Did you see the recent report on conditions in a Liverpool prison, ex inmates complaining of squalor conditions. My only thought was... If all prisons were like that, it might actually act as a deterrent rather than a free drop in centre when you want free TV, food, and a bed.

It hasn't worked in Liverpool

Living outside the prison is probably equal in Liverpool. It was back in 2004 when at uni.

Didn't even use wheelie bins, just told to throw your rubbish out over the wall in he back garden.
I'm trying to remember which game it was when we played Liverpool, during the dustbin strike?
That was surreal, mountains of rubbish piled high on the streets. Think it was the first season back in the top league with Bassett
I can remember parking outside a (presumed) derelict house. As we left the car, one of the wood panes moved with somebody peering out from inside. I'm not sure which is the 'classier' area of Stanley Park, the red or blue side.

The blue side at a push. Walton is quite a nice area despite appearances.
I love Liverpool as a city personally. Always found the people there to be spot on.

Awful feeling, my mum and dad's got robbed just before Christmas about twenty five years ago when I lived there as a child and I still remember the sinking feeling of walking into the living room and seeing all our presents under the tree had been opened, they'd even eaten some of the chocolate out of a selection box. They'd smashed the patio doors in this instance and no doubt it was easy smack money for them. Soon after my mum and dad invested in a German Shepherd & funnily enough haven't been burgled since.

I have HD CCTV and a massive Alaskan Shepherd to hopefully put any would be theives off.

I caught two scum bags trying to snap the lock on my back door about two years ago whilst we all slept, luckily I'm a light sleeper. Didn't sleep for about two weeks after that.

Me too, went to Uni there in the early 90s and stayed a while afterwards. Bar one or two incidents with scallies I had no problems whatsoever. Spent my first year in halls of residence on Scotty road so within walking distance of each ground. My only truly bad memory was seeing the blue fuckers celebrate outside my flat after we had been relegated and they had stayed up due to fucking Segers. That was a tough one.

Haven't been back in many years though, heard it's changed beyond recognition in the centre.

He does live in Liverpool though so its probably expected to be robbed this time of year!

Hope they catch the robbers and he and his family are ok. Hopefully he'll score a goal or two today and that'll cheer him up. It'll certainly cheer me up after last week!

Getting a dog is one of the best deterrents from these gutter rats.

The scum who are willing to break into other people's property and steal things other people have worked hard to aquire, while also causing psychological damage to those who have had the sanctity of their home destroyed are sub human scum. We are far too lenient on the cunts.

I was broken into back in May. Just moved in to a new place in North London. A nice watch, PS4, iPad and brand new MacBook Pro I'd just splashed over a grand on gone. All uninsured. Capped off by the £600 damage done too.

Absolute fucking bastards. Police were on the scene quickly, to their credit, but only because they were dealing with a moped snatcher around the corner.

Has it always been like this?

Not only do we generally have more money these days, it's much easier to steal the things we have with all the downsizing and lightweighted products we love so dearly.

I'd say it's got worse, especially pickpocketing and car theft.

Crime tends to increase when a country is struggling. Expect more to come in the next few years.

A bloke I know got burgled, his dog bit the burglar and punctured his lung, he had to put the dog down, he was gutted.
