Have I said so ?Do you know otherwise? As a fact?
Nope.
Speculated either way ?
For sure.
Far too many folks quick to take “sides” when all of the facts are not presented. That’s all I was picking up on.

What's strange about that? I'm not convinced by McBurnie either, I think we've paid massively over the odds for a Championship striker.Strange comment from someone who keeps saying he’s ‘not convinced’ by our 24 goal record signing.
Like always, give it a few games without Duffy and Wilder will be forced to put him back in. We saw it many times la

True but in the absence of fact you have to look at what is most likely. The idea that Duffy politely enquired about his future and Wilder reacted by kicking off, publicly criticising him, dropping him and not giving him a squad number seems hard to believe.Have I said so ?

No offence but that's horseshit.Football is a weird business isn't it?
Imagine any of us not being happy with our current terms of employment and not being able to speak to the boss about it without fear of being shown the door. Farcical.
Personally I think both sides of this can share blame. Duffy shouldn't have flaunted potential interest at other clubs when his demands weren't met and Wilder shouldn't have so quickly forgotten Duffy's contribution over the last three years and been as knee jerk in his reaction, just because he despises footballers' agents.
No one

If my boss was in the middle of a huge shitstorm at work - one that I was fully aware of and that needed to take place in order to secure the future of the department - and I went in asking to talk about getting a pay rise and improved terms, she'd tell me to fuck off out of it, and she'd be right to do so.
.
Yeah and if she then kicked you out of the team structure you was working in, made you work with the office juniors and told you to fuck off and find another job she would be up before a tribunal before you could say "constructive dismissal".
What if he'd gone in and said "give me more money because I've got someone else who'll give me more money elsewhere" and she put you on gardening leave while your notice ran down, but you were actually bluffing?
Maybe the third, but the first two? Doubtful..

Not so sure you could frame it like that. If he asked if possibility of improved contract out there that's fine. But if you're sprouting lines about other clubs willing to offer better money (which is seemingly not true now) then that seems very close to an ultimatum. The idea that Duffy politely enquired about his future

Which footballer made to train with the kids because of a fall out has ever been to a tribunal, let alone won one, for constructive dismissal?

No idea but if you read through the posts from #414 onwards rather than just the one you've picked on you'll see an exchange of views on possible outcomes based upon something similar happening in the workplace.

I've read them all thank you. None of any relevance to Duffy's situation.
Have you been questioning receptionists again?
Splendid!
Now, just for your information, I've spotted a post by WWF on another thread which I'm surprised you haven't zeroed in on already, a stock of Red Bull on one hand and Kleenex on the other, all ready for one of your famous all-nighters. When you've wrecked that thread then please feel free to have another attempt on this one.
The minute Chris hands Duffy a contract because he’s asked for one is the minute he risks losing the dressing room. Simple as that
I think the second quote answers the first, even though it was posted first of the two.But if someone was to approach me in a polite fashion, with a request, and I am an understanding leader / manager, do I ostracise said individual for making said request, or do I politely respond “not for now fella, come and see me in x weeks” ?
What's strange about that? I'm not convinced by McBurnie either, I think we've paid massively over the odds for a Championship striker.
Good response, you were convinced we were getting McBurnie for £12m.
Eh?Good response, you were convinced we were getting McBurnie for £12m.
You’re very naive about the world of football aren’t you?I think the second quote answers the first, even though it was posted first of the two.

He doesn't arouse me anywhere near as much as juanpi.
I met my wife at the end of your garden?
Edit, do you have cctv?
Squad numbers are out for the PL 24. Duffy hasn't go tone yet?
