They're shit. If we won today and lost to Rovers we'd be better off... Fuck draws, we should never settle for them.

Do it again against Bolton and it's 3 points from 9.

That's shit.

Let's beat Bolton.

Problem is - we SHOULD have beaten Scunthorpe and having the backstop of being able to draw with Bolton.

I remember when Wilder joined us he said something like

"I can't guarantee you wins but I can gaurantee the fans that we'll play attacking football with the players giving 100% effort every single match"

After watching Adkins and Clough, that was good enough for me.
A manager can't always control results but they can control performances.

We're now consistently playing well and dominating matches.
We've now had more possession than the oppostion in our last 20 consecutive league matches.
And had more shots, more shots on target and more corners than the oppostion in 19 of our last 20 league matches.

This level of continuous dominance hasn't been seen at the Lane in decades.
There's something very special being created by Wilder and Knill.

Draws are shit nowadays. Weed dealers must be feeling the recession

Too many draws hurts you in the long run but thanfully we haven't drawn too many so far. Daft as it sounds a draw against Bolton wouldn't be remotely disastrous either. I think we might just win a lot of games after that.

I think a draw next week would be a good result. Keep Scunthorpe and Bolton at arm's length and then turn over most of the rest of the league like we have been doing the rest of the season. I remember a few year ago now Manchester United won the League largely because they only dropped something like 2 points in the games against the bottom 12 teams.

The games against your rivals are important but it's just as important to do a better job against everyone else than they do.

Today wasn't a bad result.
Frustrating because we should have won, yes
But it wasn't a bad result, we took two points off Scunthorpe as well.
Bradford took two points off Bolton
Bolton took two points off Bradford

A point against Bolton won't be a bad result either, it means we will stay top and will be at least 3 points clear,
And Bolton will have dropped another two points

Beat everyone else and don't let your closest rivals beat you, that's the way to win the League

Alternatively if we beat Rovers and lose too Scunny, we have one more point but Scunthorpe are 3 closer to us.

I said in another the that 2 points from these two home games might be better than 3*, I stand by that...

*But clearly 4 points would be even better

I find a draw like today is when you go on that second or third date with a new squeeze, have a wonderful night, but then only have a kiss at the end.

Good, promise of more to come, but a wee bit deflated that it didn't quite happen on the day.

Third date with El LYDON and they're intimating at taking me on a World Cruise or donating their life-savings into my 'Donkey Sanctuary'* fund...

*Donkeys, Horses, Exotic Birds... a fund is a fund is a fund...

As for United. Yesterday's performance was to be applauded, it's such a shame that we didn't have enough viagra to remain erect for the full 90+ .. It's sometimes very difficult to penetrate when confronted by an Iron chastity belt... if only we'd have the person who didn't need the key.

i don't think we ever do settle for draws. CW always make positive substitutions (see Peterborough) when other managers would settle for a good point away from home. The fact that we don't always manage to win is just football frankly.

After a game finishes we can be pleased or disappointed with the result but I don't think we can ever doubt that this team, in contrast to previous seasons, always tries for a positive result.
