We all know about Donohue along with Leigh Doughty two of the worst refs in the EFL. Both are look at me types. After the debacle against Blackburn at home a few seasons ago Donohue seemed to have calmed down in our subsequent games he officiated in. You just knew once he was in front of the cameras he would be controversial as was his star struck mate Doughty against Hollywood FC. A dreadful inconsistent performance throughout and we have to hope thats the last we see of him this season.

One positive is he creates an atmosphere and both the crowd and players respond to his awful decisions. Our record under him is good somehow in correlation to how bad he is.

My Boro mate said it was never a penalty or if it was there were another ten in the game. I said to those around me he’s a fall over free kick merchant. If you stay on your feet it doesn’t matter if you’re fouled he doesn’t give it. The moment you hit the ground he will give it even if it’s soft.

I'm going to go against the grain and say it was a pen. Yes they're both shirt pulling.. but ones a defender in his own pen box so he's got to have his wits about him more. Their guy goes down first and it doesn't really mater that Robbo goes down straight after. Refs still a twat obviously, but I'm going to let him have that one.

Have a look at the picture in post 27, at an early corner. If that isn’t a penalty, the ref is allowing the grappling, and for Robinson to not grapple their player in defending a corner would simply allow a free header every time.
