Another apathy marker.

4,200 sell out away end last season and a Murphy screamer winner to boot. Top day out.

Next week how many will make the trip to watch the dirge currently being served up ?

1,500 my guess and I still haven't bought mine ! My 13 year old says why bother when we're this bad !!
 



I have heard we had sold 2000 as of Thursday last week. I've got my ticket, but agree it is difficult to work up enthusiasm for the game.

Two important away games in the space of 4 days which will probably shape Adkins' future at the club in McCabe's eyes.

Will be there on Satdi. Sheffield Tap early on the to the Dive Bar in Donny. Hopefully i will be sozzled enough by the time I get to the game not to let any apathy effect my support. :-)
 
That reminds me, not sure my tickets have arrived yet.
 
Doncaster Municipal Museum was oddly quite good for 15 minutes and you can always go and look at the horses tethered by ropes in people's gardens. Shows what things are coming to when the local museum and wildlife are making me write rather than the prospect of the match!

Don't kid yourself WHF, I've bought three tickets and I think we're absolutely shit, no heart, no passion and minimum effort.

I'm going to be a part of the best support in the country, my young lads love the special atmosphere at away games, the football is secondary and I don't expect to win.

I think before you put you rose coloured tints on, you should bear in mind that for many of the 20,000 home supporters, Doncaster is closer than Bramall Lane. :(
 



I had the thread title 'Donny Ticket For Sale' written out on Saturday evening, I was going to charge far less than face-value too, but something stopped me from posting it.

I don't know why I punish myself, I really don't.
 
I for one am still looking forward to it. As a Doncaster lad born and bred, I've always looked forward to playing them but somehow never attended the away game. I have a lot of mates who are Donny fans and fortunately we've always done alright against them. However, I'm pretty worried this time.

That said, we're heading up from London early, day out in Donny, night out in Donny and free accommodation at my Mum's, so days out don't get much cheaper. I'm also seeing two mates who I haven't seen in ages.

Don't ruin the day for me Blades, I expect a performance, even if you don't win.

Really looking forward to it. A few beers with mates, the away atmosphere, a beer after and celebrate the win with more beer and maybe a curry. What's not to like? :)

Haters hate, moaners moan, there's a whole lot of Blades that just get on with supporting the team and don't shout about it. o_O

How is it rose tinted?

OP was less than 1500. So far it's >3000.

Statement was: There's an outside world.

Statement was not: There's an outside world...who think we'll hammer them.

(Maybe OP was a variation on the eternal 14000 crowds next season post.)

People have their own reasons for turning up. But, for now, they turn up.

Loud or deeply held opinions positive or negative are not necessarily representative opinions.
