With Lee Morris, or Jordan Slew? It's like deja vu all over again
If only we were that creative...With Lee Morris, or Jordan Slew?

Oh, I know (and I'm astonished by) the story. If only we were that creative...
But no, same player, same subject

Has of typing that thread isn't on the front page, so maybe give him some slack, only the hardcore s24su members go beyond the first page!If only we were that creative...

Split on this one a bit.
Needed to go based on League 1 needs and the players we have been able to buy and loan. He simply wouldn't have played or played well.
But, he could be the type of player we need in the Championship to push on to the next level.
2 points.
1. Sad we needed to sell any prospective talent to get out of League 1 (and that includes that bloke in Birmingham). But for the record. I blame the wasted money given to Clough and Adkins, not McCabe who did give them sufficient budget.
2. Is playing in League 1 detrimental to the development of real talent, that can only flourish in the Higher levels ? Is there now hope for our other youth?
Overall, good luck to him, he will be welcome back any time and when he goes to Real we can fund the Kop upper extension with the profit... ( ever the optimist)
He's not scoring many in the PL, but he'll definitely be banging them in at home.

Subbed at half time

Oh but he wouldn't feature for us. And maybe even would've been released this month!!! Yeah yeah
Weird looking bird with plastic tits - will fit in well in Liverpool. Either Ronald Koeman knows a good player when he sees one or I do![]()
They're real. Went to school with her.![]()

To be fair on the lad he has played in a World Cup U20s Final, progressed his way into making his Premiership debut, scored the winner in a European tie and signed a £40k a week contract.
Dare i say that more experienced football people than any of us seem to rate him highly. The potential is there and for his first 12 months at a premiership club he seems to be backing that potential up quite nicely.
To flip all these positives on their head, i still don't think CW would start him for us.
All that effort for him to play for someone else.
Shut the academy and spend the money on the first team.
