For me though Bush i see it a little differently although what you say is perfectly correct.I've no issue with getting rid, I understand our situation. I do wonder though that if a PL club thinks a player is worth buying, whether we couldn't negotiate better add-ons. I know that can be sometimes at the cost of the payment up front and we needed the money but would £1.5m plus £500k if he plays x number of times, £500k if he plays in Europe and £500k if he plays for England be that big a burden to Everton? They'd still have only paid £3m for a player worth ten times that, at least.
That said, it's probably irrelevant but if Everton think he's good enough to be making appearances, £1.4m does seem a little low.
I take the view that if we can use £1.4m right now on a couple of players to get us out this league then i would take it.
Even if said player was worth more.
Yes, i agree that if we have no sell on clauses extra then that is not good enough and someone is not doing their job properly.
I would rather get £1.4m and promotion than lose the sale due to us asking too much and missing promotion.
