Does KM want to go up?

In the coca cola championship these days you need to spend millions and millions just to compete. KM won't be happy with that, not one bit! What will he do if we somehow accidentally stumble up through the play-offs?

thats like saying to me
would you really want to shag Katy Perry , shes high maintenance

would United want to go up to a league where the gates are bigger and the tv money is mind blowing compared to what we get now

club chairmen thrive on ego
does kevin want to be a championship rather than a league one manager

does david cameron want to the oppositon leader rather than all the hassle he gets being prime minister

any one else got similar questions

Who wants 4K plus away fans money every other week?

I don't think it's that complex. The parent company (Scarborough) lends money to the loss-making subsidiaries (Sufc) at exhorbitant interest rates, which is paid back in dribs and drabs through asset sales (Murphy et.al.)
I said bank interest rates are at an all time low .

I would be interested to find out the salaries and pension arrangements of all the directors and executives as well.

We could,nt stumble up through the play off finals when we had decent team ! with this shower of under-performing shite cant really see it myself

It's a given that KM and the Prince want SUFC to return to the Championship. Can we achieve it with those two in charge, is a totally different question.

As far United, there are no profits, haven't shown profits for years and all the relevant companies have millions in tax losses available and in the case of the FC, nothing to set them off against.

Which is why the main asset (the ground) has been transferred to the parent company to protect it.
As a third division team all you can hope is to break even, but any losses can be depreciated on your corporate balance sheet to reduce tax liability, assuming the losses aren't severe enough to bankrupt the entire trading entity.

man city fans couldnt see it when they were 2=0 down to gillingham after 88 minutes
they were playing crap

but football is a moody mistress
who will occasionally put a smile on your face

Bank interest rates have nothing to do with intracompany charges. They can set the rate how they want.
That's exactly my point , some people on here say there's no way you can make money by investing in a football club.

McCabe/ Scarborough loans to the football club have been cleared as per the accounts filed at Companies House.

So the Murphy money hasn't gone to McCabe or Scarborough.

Look at the accounts. It's in there. The only paid directors are the likes of Brannigan and Winter. Same with pensions. It won't suit your daft idea of creating losses by paying directors salaries that get taxed so you end up having to put even more in and pay tax uneccesarily.
FFS, a little knowledge and all that.

I've been explaining why the ground was transferred to SU Ltd out of the football club for months. Because of the deal with the Prince. It's not news to me.

You are aware that the equivalent amount of debt left the football club balance sheet to go with it aren't you?

The rest of your post is gobbledegook.

but that is EXACTLY the reason why we can.

We have been done by fit young players most of the season - that has, by and large stopped now.

I'd take these players in a 3 game play off - if our expectations are "just" to get into the playoffs then this shower of under-performing shite will realise through the manager how lucky we are to get into the playoffs and be able to raise their game.

Question: would you rather have a chance of going up or just write off the season?

Next season, wherever it may be is completely immaterial at that point - you go to win the playoffs then approach next seasons problems as you find them.

I would rather Adkins be given the job of staying in the 2nd tier than try yet AGAIN to get out of the third.

Sorry, it's a no brainer.

Highly illogical,
Along the same lines as the Royal lizard line and fake moon landings
although the latter has infinitely more credibility than KM not wanting promotion

Hang on a minute, I think there is a big chance they don't want to go up, simply because we can't afford to go up. The wage bill would increase massively, we would need to spend a few million to stay there and what would the crowds go up by? 2k ? This clubs outgoing would comfortably out weigh the extra incoming. I am not sure it's a case of not wanting to go it's the fact we can't afford to spend the money to get up and stay up.
KM is holding his bake sale.Buy a cake.
BEWARE Don't get taken in.......
I can confirm he puts shit in his cakes cos he does'nt really want to sell any.

My opinion is that of course he love United to go up, he probably find a buyer for the club.
But he won't risk anymore money trying to get United promoted.

We aren't willing to spend the money to get out of this league. How do we hope to compete in the next?
You are either thick or a Wed.
We have the biggest wage bill in League One, and have spend the most money on transfers, in the last calendar 12 months,

Chairmen

whats the main reason they throw away their money on football clubs

vanity
the public glare , showing off
Like we as normal people buy cars , run an Audi A4 rather than a fiat punto to show off

Does KM want us back in the championship , hell yes ,
hes slumming it in the Lada Riva of leagues and wants a new championship Range Rover Eclipse

be upgrading his status no end , massaging his ego
to even ask the question is ludicrous
its why they do it
