Manor Solomon:

• He's an out an out Winger, thus more likely to improve Selles' "system" instead of trying to play 3 10's in midfield.
• If Gus does leave, with O'hare and Chong already here and 10's, we don't need to replace Gus like for like but adapt the squad going forward.
• He's tried and trusted. Had a fantastic season with Leeds last year.
• He's quick! We need some bloody pace.
• He's a PL standard of player but the political stuff (let's leave it there) means another team bar Leeds in the PL would probably rather avoid any backlash from the worldwide audience.

Both can play out wide or in the centre.

Both are very tricky and hard to rob the ball off.

Great experience, be a calming influence on the pitch, be great in the dressing room, will help Bindon and Zatterstrom, and even at 36 should still be able to contribute much (I think it was Bob who said a player had told him that he was head and shoulders in training).

TBH I’m completely underwhelmed by our approach to trf this window …

It’s seems to be scatter gun at best …

I don’t care for big name signings what I do like to have is the feeling that a signing has been well scouted and is recruited with solid reasoning behind it.

Right now it just feels like any man and his dog can sign and we have no identity
