Nowhere near fellow Blade. You don't talk actual football enough to convince me you see much more than highlights on You Tube. You much prefer the 'politics' in S2.

So, person who watches and analyses every kick: please account for our pretty fucking woeful defensive record last season, eh?

I am all ears for this fucker!

*sits nicely*

ps: BIGGER BLADE ALERT! etc

I'm not one to even notice "funny squiggles" never mind understand them; oh the problems of the written word in this social media society. Friends can make enemies just on a squiggle, people could get shot just because of a squiggle. Sean you might have just wasted a couple of years of your life hounding a good bloke, a sensible Blade - all on a squiggle or two.;)

Jesus.

It's actually called a question mark. You must have come across them in your schooldays if not in your banking career.

No?

Sean, since when did a question mark become a "squiggle". I didn't look back at your post, I thought it had a smiley or something significant there.

We are wasting our time frankly.

Yes. Well done you. And, as could be the case (and not beyond anyone's furtive and creative imagination) Clough gets the 'plenty to spend next season' horseshit, gets them to semi finals sees players come and go and then gets

"Buy the eighth and the twelfth one on your list Brian. Don't tell anyone how much he cost either. It is 'Brian' isn't it?"

And you believe McCabe's bullshit that it was Clough's fault.

pommpey

Do you know for a fact that the signings Clough made weren't his first choices? Or are you making it up as you go along again?
(Not that Clough was mentioned until you strayed away again to heap more blame on MacCabe)

I've pretty much agreed with you throughout this thread. You clearly want a row with someone for some reason. Here's an idea, have it with someone in real life, because you seem to have lost the ability to read this thread properly as the evening has worn on.

Are you still nudging that turps, son?

pommpey

Son..are you sure lad

You are the permanently menstrual one.

If it helps, I had three years playing professionally, followed by ten years semi pro. But I could never match your knowledge of the game from the safety of your armchair.

Ohhh. And now you're here, trolling some 'armchair professional' you know fuck all about.

I have a fucking degree in football, me. I do. Okay, you possibly don't know if I do or don't, and possibly don't care. Just like I don't care about your dick waving. You've obviously had a successful shot at the pro game ... then semi-pro ... then ... who cares.

And, of someone who has seen his dream subside, you're playing the man, not the ball. Usually after you've finished your shift at the petrol station.

Do you see now how getting personal solves the problem of our football club and it's shitty state?

Toodle pip

Clough is mentioned in almost all threads about McCabe, because you guys buy McCabe's shit that the problems were all his. And Weirs. And Wilsons, and Adkins's.

Any idea why Clough went?

I'll ask you again.....
Do you know for a fact that Cloughs signings weren't his first choices?

Pretty fucking self evident, isn't it?

Would you have signed that shit, if you had as much as people say he had?

So why say Cloughs signings weren't his first choice? (8th and 12th were your example. Post 152) Because it suites your argument in blaming all on MacCabe and another reason as to why you take nothing on board anyone says

So you actually think Clough would have signed Coutts (for example) or fucking Higdon, above any other more expensive, better option at that time? Higdon ... first choice? Really? When he fucking signed, even those who'd heard of him had to Google him and when they did, this board was alive with all sots of counter evidence he was dogshit on sliced white. See also Coutts ... never a fucking game changer.

Short memories. I refuse to believe Clough signed anything which was 'top of his list'. Everything which came this way was shit, and I don't doubt came with an argument with McCabe about his options. Unless you can explain his mysterious departure any better, that is ... ?

Yes, Coutts was a player Clough had had before and is reportedly on well above average league one wages. You despute it? Let's see how easy it is to shift him then. Higdon may or may not have been first choice but does that mean MacCabe didn't back him? Maybe his first choice didn't want to come? You and I both don't know the answer to that one but that hasn't stopped you pinning it on the chairman. Everything came with an argument with MacCabe? What bollocks.Nothing we signed was top of his list? How about Brayford? Clough must have been well pissed off with that one. That's me done with is one. I've better things to discuss. Over to you for the inevitable last blast at MacCabe

I think you and I know that Brayford was a populist panic buy because of the lack of movement and reinforcing after the sale of Maguire.

Deny that and it confirms you are deluded. He ended up effectively replacing Maguire in the centre of a stupidly unbalanced back four.
