Do you live in my old house ? Always remember as a nipper Dad saying it was 22 miles to The Lane (technically to my Grandma's front door at the bottom of Bennett Street from home) and that was before they built the Dronfield Bypass.I'm 22 miles from the Lane.
Too far for night matches at my age !!For me it is 6.2 miles. I had this conversation with my wife and my younger daughter because they were asking if my Norwich supporting mate is going to the match tonight. Told them that because of his age and mobility it is now rare for him to go to away matches, his son still goes to away matches only if it is being played during the weekend. My mate lives 22 miles from Carrow Road and sometimes he doesnt go to midweek home games preferring to watch it on tv at home.
What is the distance from your home to BDTBL according to Google Maps?
I'm 4.4 miles, never considered walking it really but this has inspired me to try, once the weather is a bit better, and I don't have a 7 year old with me (moans about the walk back up to the Stag currently). It's 4.9 miles for us we walk every match. Only about 3 times we have had to catch the bus to woodseats or from woodseats in about 6 years
Now, that explains a lot.I grew up 2.1 miles away, top of East Bank Road

It's the Cadiz Arrecife boat crossing where the hold up can be in bed weather!Bet you still don’t leave on the 85th minute, despite the roadworks in Mauritania.

Are they synchronized reasonably well? I’d try this as long as there’s no delay on either one.I live next to the ponderosa, a mile from Bramall Lane. It takes me 40 minutes to walk. As a pensioner, I can't afford to attend every game. I will be watching on Sky Sports. With commentary from Radio Sheffield.
somewhere near me HB. We are 90.9 miles away.92 miles, hopefully a lot less in a few months
As a fellow pensioner I don't know how you can afford Sky!!I live next to the ponderosa, a mile from Bramall Lane. It takes me 40 minutes to walk. As a pensioner, I can't afford to attend every game. I will be watching on Sky Sports. With commentary from Radio Sheffield.
