Disgusting behaviour from Blades fans tonight

I've only done a handful of away games this season but it really is like playing the d1ckhead lottery when buying away tickets, at least at home you can avoid them. Sometimes it's a cracking day out surrounded by great people, but more recently I seem to be dealt the d1ckhead hand. Had the pleasure of sitting next to a vile bunch of coked-up scallies at the front yesterday who spent the whole game trying to arrange a scrap with another vile bunch of coked up scallies near the back. Middle-aged ones in the group just as bad.

None of them really watched the game, can't keep still, always in the way, zero regard for any other fans near them. Is there more of them these days or are they just more d1ckhead-ish? It really is a small minority but they don't half ruin your day out. No point asking them to move as they're looking for any excuse to get aggressive at any one.

Not a chance any of these creatures have the ability to read or write, so appreciate I'm talking about no one on here, but needed to vent!

Need to get sniffer dogs deployed at turnstiles properly and get rid of people bringing a packet to the football. Would soon sort the behaviour out.

Sorry to hear that. I was at my first game this season with my young in and found it very good natured. I did see a bit of trouble brewing just after half time in the concourse though and promptly went back to my seat. I was in n38 near the top, where were you out of interest?

Maybe give their seat numbers to the club? Bit of "a grass", but hey ho. Sounds like they caused misery to a fair number of fans.

That's good to hear and reassuring for those who want to take their kids. Important that they aren't put off due a minority. Sounds like you didn't pull out any numbers on the d1ckhead lottery! I had 4 and the bonus ball. Had it worse at other games, but still frustrating.

N39, near the front. Tricky one with handing over seat numbers as you can't really prove anything, it's more just 'being a set of d1cks' which is hard to pin down. Plus they spent half the game in my seat ha!

Anyway, keen not to keep sticking this old thread at the top of the general chat board, as it's not aimed at anyone on here, and there's big games to come where positivity is needed! UTB

My lad went for a pint at HT yesterday and came back completely from the wrong direction, (we were N39) I asked him where he had been and he said he couldn't get back up at our end for a group of about 20 knocking 7 bells out of each other....mainly "coke kids" but with a handful of much older ones who should have known a lot better...

Handful of our young dicks were trying to wreck a portaloo outside after the game last night

I find it weird that so many people are blaming cocaine. When I was younger and dumber I took it on a number of occasions.

Made me feel a bit racey, chat someone's head off, but never violent. I know a lot of people who did it, some still do and I don't remember it ever having that aggressive effect on them either.

To be honest I use to dabble but it made me over estimate my fighting prowess massively and make me behave like a cunt in general. I'm a cunt now but a cowardly one.

I think its a combo of the inability to hold your drink and the coke.

I think it depends entirely on your personality and mindset to start with. If you have violent and aggressive tendencies then alcohol and/or coke will bring that out when you have it.

Sorry to hear that mate. I was a bit wary due to hearing stories on here re coked up twats do was glad to avoid any trouble. I would guess it gets worse if we lose though.

Correct but even worse are those who wouldn't normally say boo to a Goose think they are 10 men and try it on with people they would normally cross the road to avoid.

The Carrier Bag Firm made a pact this season. If there's a plausible local independent beer on offer in the ground (as opposed to multi national industrial brand), we'll have it - even if we don't need it.

So, most away games I avoid the half time concourse, this time, as such a beer had materialised, I "had to" venture down. I got to the front of the queue. Other queues onmy right, but nothing to the left of me. As I was being served, one young gun was reaching up & banging on the bar shutter roll above my head and to my left. With each pound of his first, his elbow was hitting the back of my head - hard. I tried to keep shifting, but it was difficult as he was so intent on banging the shutter roll.

Anyway, they served me, and I was bang in a short queue right on the whistle. And pulled the shutter down and stopped serving at that bar as there was no point continuing with him on one like that.

Point being, his behaviour impacted on other Blades who were hoping to get grub & ale. They had the shutter pulled & had to try their luck at another bar.

Me and my son were at the back of N38, right next to the Sky camera, we didn't see anything until we went behind and the guy behind us went mental for about 10 mins, he was screaming obscenities at everybody, particularly Norwood and Berge ....... that wasnt you was it Gavlar ;-)

The Toast Family was also in attendance and a good time was had by all (would have been even better if we'd won). Not saying there was no trouble but I can see how much of the stuff on this thread would put some fans esp with young kids off going to away matches but we were fine

This. I've done my fair share of powder in my younger days, but always at gigs and nights out (mainly EDM stuff admittedly). All it ever did to me was make me want to talk the ears off anyone around, and hug my mates. No idea why it seems to whip these lads up into some sort of frenzy of being...well...cunts.

We have some right dick heads on board for one reason or another just like any other fan base but to fight with your own and cause shit on your own door step is fucking ridiculous.

I’m well aware that this is common place now so maybe I’m fortunate that it hasnt directly affected me.

Always found all blades to be sound home and away and if someone did act up with me then I’d give them one chance to apologise and if they didn’t then more fool them.

I accept however that not everyone has this same mindset if they come across this
