Still can't get over him missing sitter after sitter and after every one the crowd singing his name unironically*.

Never seen that level of support for a blades player going through a bad patch before.

*as opposed to say "if porter scores, we're on the pitch"

I suppose it was more forgivable with us doing so well at the time. He didn’t score that season until the games were played without fans did he? Some of the chances he had as well. If we were struggling and he wasn’t bagging would’ve been a different story perhaps. Then again he offered us so much more than goals.

Watched him on TV yesterday and he can still beat a man and pick a good pass but it was not a good day for Notts County as they were totally outplayed by a very good well organised Mansfield.
Mansfield were very well set up by a manager that seemed to know what he was doing.
