The moral voice of the Board has spoken. The ones slagging him off aren't exactly people with opinions that can be taken in any way seriously. Best to just hear it, smell it, be mildly discomfited by it for a few seconds & then let it harmlessly dissipate into nothingness like a pungent fart.
So, if you disagree with "he's been one of our better players this season", you can't be taken seriously and your opinion should be treated like a fart? Wow!
Not that I'm overly-bothered whether you take me or anyone else seriously, you understand, but he has been (in my opinion) dreadful this season. His aerial prowess has been every bit as bad as his first touch, which has been every bit as bad as his work rate, which has all been nearly as bad as his finishing.
I'm all for not 'abusing players on social media', believe me, as someone who was very positive about him coming to the club no one wants to be proven more wrong than me, but pointing something out as an opinion, even if it is negative, isn't 'abuse'.
IMO, McBurnie on this Board seems to be like 'The Emperor's New Clothes'. He 'should' be good, the Manager keeps picking him, and his team-mates are backing him, but the result is he's been crap most of the time and many can see it with their own eyes.
