No, it wasn't. It was in the 'I've seen them given' category, but Stearman's foot contacted with the ball and cleared it. Granted, it wasn't a tackle which needed to be made, as their bloke was moving sidewards to get away from Stearman. There were enough players around if he'd have turned to shoot and get a block in. It was naïve stuff but it wasn't a penalty.
Incidentally, the fucking conduct of Charlie Austin needs a special mention. Aiming your foot to kick the face of an opposition keeper when he has already collected the ball at your feet deserves a ten match ban. What an awful, nasty little cunt. But, y'know ... Premier League and all that. I suppose its just unfashionable northern clubs in the Championship who get 'justice' meted out at them.
