Di Matteo

Can't see it at all. He would have to be proper radio rentals to come here.

Doesn't fit in with "trying to work with the players we have" line either, surely Di Matteo would expect a hefty transfer wedge.

He can have his wedge come january.;)
Even Jesus Christ couldnt perform a miracle on this shower.

Well on the odds checker Sitwell's mate must have put a shed load on as Di Matteo has come down to 12/1 with Bet Victor (maybe Sitter's mate is 'Maurice'). Sky have Clough 1/10, Stan James 1/5. Everyone else's odds are lengthening.

Who does Stan James manage? :D

Match v. Coventry as good as over by half-time. Meet the new boss etc.

Anyway, with all the names being thrown around, surprised Malky Mackay hasn't been named.

I know we've all been turning to heavy substance abuse given how shit the team are, but come on, this is lunacy.

I wouldn't disagree. Just the american bloke said we have enough players already and we need a manager to get the best out of what we've got. Hopefully Prince Chubbychops is watching this shite and disagrees. I'd happily get rid of every player in the squad. If Man Utd want Maguire they must be changing their mind today. Been borderline whether he's good at enough at this level last 2 years, but today he looks like a lost little boy. Almost inevitable he's gonna get sent off. Not trying to single him out, the whole team looks hilariously shite. Even compared to recent standards, which takes some doing.

I wouldn´t rule it out.. As a manager you must manage and Di Matteo have been out for a while now

Would be nice but unlikely, although he does fit the profile of having previous League One experience

Have any Captain Scarlett-like puppet headed men been seen checking out green fees at Abbeydale Golf Club?

If it's Di Matteo I'd be delighted. We need a manager that will take us to the Prem and keep us there. I believe that we need to get out of this League and then in the Chumpionship (sic) re-address the style so that when you get to the Prem you can adapt much more readily. It is too big a gap from Championship to the PL.

If we can start the style change now then that's fine but unless it's Di Matteo then it needs to be in stages. And by style change I mean get some bloody wins with it, not fart-arsing around to please the Pinchyites whilst taking us near League 2 in the process.

We need to get to the Prem and Di Matteo is a nailed on man to do it? You are quite the optimist. We need a crisis manager.

It will not be Di Matteo. In my gut I think it will be Pulis. All I have to go on is seeing him at the Hartlepool game and Danny Higginbotham's interview on Talksport the other night.

For what it's worth, I see this as the first real test of whether we do have "game changing" investment or not. If......... sorry........... IF....... the club go out and get RDM, it will be a clear sign that we have.

ha ha I knew it you ARE a pig
Nice one snorts
What in that post makes you think I am a pig fan? Many other people in this thread have also said it is unlikely Di Matteo will come. I don't have to justify my blade credentials to you but would not waste my time posting on another clubs message board. You have accused me twice now for saying I don't want Morgan or Wilder and don't think De Matteo or Pulis would come. If I was on the wind-up I would come out with something far more radical than that.

Fancy a £20 bet on that? Winnings to be paid to this site's upkeep.

If Morgan gets the job on a non-caretaker basis I will happily pay up. Will you do the same if the job goes to someone else?

Not a betting man mate sorry. I think it will be Morgan (but really hope I am proved wrong) Wilder may stake a claim. In a separate thread someone suggested Cox at Mansfield (3 promotions) I didn't know that guy but he may be willing to step up, sounds a possibility.

Call me a pessimistic bastard but I don't think it matters who we get.

I firmly believe we'll be starting the 2015/2016 season still in League One.
