Decent. I’d probably give a B so far. Still a top striker and CM away from being an A though

I echo it’s the best transfer window I have ever witnessed since being a Blade ! Assuming we add McBurnie I’m very pleased with what the 2 owners have made available. The signings have also been very good.

We do need to add McBurnie and if it’s one more in, then I’d like a Reece James type player.

It’s up to the players now to make the step up and if they can’t, there shouldn’t be any complaints about recruitment, nor complaints aimed at the players themselves.

It is what it is and good luck to the boys for next year ! UTFB

I'd love it if someone could name a better one
I can go back as far as 81 and this is easily the most exciting in terms of the skill levels of the players we are linked with

A good transfer window so far with some shrewd business by wilder😀. 2/3 more to come??. Heard from a mate that a bid for mcburnie has been accepted by Swansea from us and that he’s due in Sheffield on Monday for talks apparently?. The Dutch keeper had a medical today. UTB ⚔️⚔️⚔️

If there are no more signings this still ranks as one of, if not the, best I can recall. Getting good value on all our signings so far, which Wilder highlighted as a reason for the time each transfer has taken, will probably give us a bit more leeway in potentially overpaying to bring someone like McBurnie in.

We've changed Craine for Jagielka, Washington for Robinson, Johnson for Osborn and Coutts for Morrison. In addition, we've signed the highly-rated Freeman and the player we (potentially) broke out transfer record for. Pretty good if you ask me!

Possibly the best window ever I think, I said before, unless there was a really good one in the early 1900s or something, I can't see how you can top it. There may have been individual players brought in that have had a bigger "wow" factor, but for an overall window, outstanding.

Best window in my life time without doubt.

Not quite keeping up with Villa!

They beat Charlton 4-1 today.

We beat Barnsley 4-1.

On the ticker for us "Osborn scores on his debut, plus a double from Robinson and a goal from Freeman gives United win"

On the ticker for them "blah blah bollocks earns Villa impressive win."

Always have to be up someone's arse Sky.

We're shopping in the pool we're in, recruiting in the way we intended, but also in the way we can afford.

We have to be happy with this window. It's our best ever window, we've spent like we've never spent before. The only complexity is, our spending pales into insignificance when you compare it to the spending around us and who we're up against.

That said, big money players bring no guarantees, and let's be honest - if we could and would have spent like Villa, we'd be the first to moan about changing too much too soon. The current squad and style of play have our full backing and it's watching them take that system to the big wigs of the premier league that I'm most excited about.

Wilder has spent within our means and has bought largely young, hungry, exciting British players with absolutely bags of potential. We could be a real breath of fresh air. We're also well placed to retain the bulk of the squad and go back up, if we need to. Unlike, say Villa, who have Brazilian internationals etc who wouldn't want to stick around.

For me, now, a striker now please, and I'm happy - either of our main two targets - splash the cash. A centre mid and a LWB cover, if I'm being truly picky.

UTB!!!! ⚔️

We seem to be making signings and spending some money. I don’t see any other club in the Premier League looking over there shoulder and fearing the business we have done though.

Other than Henderson most of those signings are gambles with none of them proven at this level. jags is the exception but he’s now 36. But you know what, it’s clear Wilder is going about his business as he always does, he’s the man that will get something out of these, so you just never know! Hand on heart we can’t ask anymore than that with the budget we have compared to those around us!
